• Finalization of accounts on monthly quarterly, half yearly and yearly basis
• Carry out or supervise all month end closing activities like expense provision, depreciation booking, amortization schedule etc
• Coordinating with HO for submission of reports, addressing queries etc
• Ensure that all cash and bank transactions are carried out with proper approvals.
• Ensure that expenses have been incurred only after due approval
• Ensuring collection of credit cards, receivables in time and maintaining coordination with banks
• Verification of Payroll files for accuracy in salary calculation and deductions

• Ensuring the proper follow-up for collection of receivables.

To work closely with the Finance Manager to provide analysis and management information to enable him to make better and timely decisions.
• Managing daily cash balances
• Ensuring that cash flows are adequate to allow business units to operate effectively
• Forecasting cash payments and anticipating challenges arising from limited cash flow
• Maintain banking relationships and negotiating loans and merchant services for business units
• Presenting financial reports for meetings and investors
• Creating solutions to new financial challenges by applying financial/treasury knowledge
• Banking money and cheques received and issuing receipts as requested or needed
• Maintaining and transferring money between bank accounts as required
• Payment of invoices and fees as required or otherwise instructed
• To identify and track the covered companies IPO, secondary issuances, preferred stock offerings, senior and subordinated debt offerings via SEC filed reports.
• Consulting financial reports (10K, 10Q, AR, SR) and other statutory reports (8K, 6K, PR, FWP, B2B prospectus) on daily basis for discovering the companies’ futures financial prospects that could affect their financial and proposed security’s performances.
• Regularly maintaining the Capital Structure reports of covered companies in covered industries.
• Handling the projects and analyzing the needs of additional resources that could be put together to get the work done in timely manner and analyzing, communicating any hurdles or obstacles in the way of success to the projects.
• Identification and rectification of procedural deficiencies to make them more accurate.
• Identification and representation of the financial data of the covered companies in align to the SNL coverage criteria.
• Continuous improvement in current process of coverage via inter-department collaboration.
• Providing trainings on financial concepts and conducting meetings for discussing newer procedures in order to implement them.
• Provides technical and functional support by utilizing SQL database and to complete numerous tasks in timely manner.
• Reviewing and approving/publishing financial data of covered companies.
• Providing detail, timely feedback to Analysts on their data reports.
• Maintaining a strong focus on data quality and performing audits
• Utilizing systems and tools in accordance with SNL best practices for gathering data.
• Resolution of Client's problems by collaborating with Client Services team.
• Contacting clients by phone and Email.
• Contacting the covered companies for either confirming or seeking new information for making SNL data set unique from other competitors in the market.
• Regularly utilizing the third party data providers (Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg, EDI and Equity Desk) for affirming the market deals.
Currently enrolled in MSBA (leading to PHD) in Finance specialization where the result depicts the first semester result. This degree program is an advance level to provide students current companies practices toward strategic management issues, Accounting issues, Financial Management, Production and Operation management issues. Moreover it will equip student to undertake research thesis particularly to finance specialized courses.
The degree was enriched with the combination of finance and management courses like Multinational Financial Management, Portfolio Analysis Management, Advance Financial Management, Commercial and Investment Banking, International Business Analysis and Methods in Business Research and more. After securing 3.75 CGPA in first semester the university offered me honor to attend HR Confluence held in one of best business university, LUMS, in Pakistan. Similarly, after securing 3.5 CGPA in third semester the university again offered me to attend Marketing Colloquium held in prior said university. I had been awarded scholarship (50% tuition fee) by the university during my MBA tenure.
This bachelor degree was the combination of essential accounting and IT subjects that had developed skills to maintain Books of the companies, understanding of accounting cycle and Importance of IT in the business.
