I’m a part of the Lufthansa online sales core team in Frankfurt, and report to the Head of Online & Mobile Sales. My main tasks include: \n- Driving online and mobile sales through regional managers in 24 countries and making sure that the area targets for all KPIs are on track \n- Negotiating internal online sales budgets for all markets \n- Effective revenue management and inventory steering for the online channel \n- Coordinating B2C marketing and sales promotion activities throughout the area; conceptualizing and launching innovative marketing concepts and introducing Social Media \n- Website quality assurance in terms of content accuracy, relevance and attractiveness \n- Implementing effective search engine marketing (SEM) and optimization (SEO) \n- Implement affiliate marketing and re-marketing/re-targeting for the area \n- Newsletter activities and customer database enhancement. \n \nMy additional responsibilities include customer intelligence measures within the area, Channel cost management and analysis; and B2B loyalty and incentive strategy. \n \nProjects & Achievements: \n- Currently working on implementing a new language concept on the Lufthansa website \n- Integrated new payment options in the online booking process for MEA countries \n- Selected in 2009, 2010 and 2013 in the “High Achiever” program of Lufthansa \n- Increased online and mobile sales volume and revenue by 300% from 2009 to 2012
