Client: DEWA Worked as an Electrical Engineer Operator in rewinding ad electrical testing division of Generators (Stator and Rotor)

• ROTOR winding, ranging from 5MW upto 500 MW. • Stator winding, ranging from 10MW upto 300MW. • Coil insertion-resistance, brazing-induction & brazing-wedging. • Capable of Stator winding skills. • Coil insertion wedging connection, insulation of coil nose taping and brazing. • Able to torch braze (oxy-acetylene) induction brazing certified from ANDRITZ. • Ability to understand drawings and process of specifications. • Familiar with generator shop practices and use of overhand cranes. • Able to make winding tool and fixtures. • Inspect turbo generator equipment’s for defects. • Experienced in measuring equipment’s such as micrometre, multimeter and Vernier calliper etc. • Able to repair, install & assemble test machines and electrical equipment’s. • Undertake basic machines for fitting insulation blocks. • Usage of chemicals such as epoxies, adhesives, hardener, raisins, coating and solvents. • Experience in rotor earth fault test (using high current). • Implemented suggestions to improve productivity & safety. • Experienced in Rotor & Stator winding of Hydro Generator.

Spearheading implementation and monitoring of all electrical related works at site; testing all products for correct installation and operation  Preparing estimates and allocating the resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, and so on that are required for all electrical related work prior to execution  Developing project baselines; monitoring and controlling projects with respect to cost, resource deployment, time overruns and quality compliance to ensure satisfactory execution of projects  Supervising the maintenance processes to optimize production activities (equipment availability & energy efficiency) and implementing effective preventive maintenance system accordingly  Planning & implementing the preventive & predictive maintenance schedules for improving the overall reliability and safety of plant equipment & machinery; maintaining the spares stock inventory  Directing & monitoring vendor shop repairs on high voltage  Reviewing technical practices for assuring maintainability of equipment and parts and submitting evaluation for management decision; managing the operations, maintenance, fault isolation, and repair of all divisional equipment and associated auxiliary equipment  Participating in site meetings and coordinating with the clients/vendors and consultants for installation & maintaining site progress report  Monitoring and executing project activities with Engineers and Technicians for completing projects within assigned deadlines  Interfacing with internal and external customers and subcontractors to ensure site progress as per site schedule/ program  Generating vendors & resolving queries within time; documenting the same  Identifying problem and submitting the Failure Route Cause Report to Research and Development Team
