(This was an inter-divisional transfer between Alunasa & GSE, since both belonging to same SIIL group of companies)

Responsibilities:
(i). Leading the Engineering dept., preparing work schedules, assigning jos, monitoring the daily works, guiding & driving for the timely results & output,
(ii). Study & understand the Tender drawings & BOQ, suggest the best suitable design, inline with all related parameters like estimation, structural requirement, available stock, production & site installation easiness,
(ii). Review & preliminary approval of the design related documents & drawings, before official release to the client,
(iii). Prepare/validate structural design of Steel structures, Space frames etc. using Structural Engineering softwares like STAAD.Pro, SAP etc, in compliance with International Standards (BS, American etc.),
(ii). Discussion and negotiation with the clients,
(iv). Supervise assigned Engineering jobs, designs or developments, co-ordination of works etc.,
(v). Oversee the electronic record keeping in the Engineering Dept., and ensure all ISO recommended standards & procedures are followed,

(ii). Discussion and negotiation with the clients,
(iii). Part of the Research and Development team that develops new fabrication systems, designs and drawings,
(iv). Supervise assigned Engineering jobs, designs or developments, co-ordination of works etc.
