•Manage daily methanol and utility train operations, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure safe, eficient, and reliable plant performance. Achieved 105% grade AA methanol production rate and optimized energy eficiency through process optimization and Advanced Process Control (APC) utilization.
• Perform daily plant surveillance monitoring by reviewing plant operating parameters. Do plant around to look through equipment condition, provide problem identification and root cause analysis.

• Act as operation representative in technical and process safety documentation reviews such as PFD, P&ID, risk assessment, HIRAC, HAZID, and HAZOP. Delivered 15 PSM documents to the operation and technical departments.
• Provide and develop monthly plant performance reports capturing production and eficiency achievements, operational highlights, and maintenance activities. Delivered 60+ reports timely to operation departments.
• Ensure the implementation of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 which means compliance with company standards and procedures. Acted as an internal auditor and auditee, having performed 14+ cross-sectional surveillance audit activities.
• Coordinate start-up, shutdown, and turnaround activities. Achieving Turnaround objectives such as quality, safety, and timely execution.
• Delivered monthly plant performance reports which resume system and process eficiencies, product inventories, and operational highlights. Delivered 50+ reports timely to the technical departments manager while acting as a process engineer.
• Provided process engineering support in process safety management (PSM) such as risk assessment, RCFA, HAZID, and HAZOP Study to address process safety and reliability issues.
• Provided process engineering and technical support by delivering process engineering studies, preliminary analysis/design, and recommendations to improve plant performance, troubleshoot issues, and MOC programs. Issued 30+ recommendations, modifications, and evaluations to the operation department. Some of them are as follows:
- Re-design auto start logic washing tower pump in 2019. Succeed in eliminating logic failure to respond to problems (auto start requirements) for 90%.
- Carry out TMA catch pot resin regeneration research and project execution in 2018. Saved annual cost of TMA catch pot by 40.7% and reduced environmental impact.
- Solved Ammonia grooving problem (Cu corrosion) in turbine condensate system by evaluating start-up procedure in 2018. Reduce Cu corrosion rate by 34% in turbine condensate system.
