- Exercises discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance, including, but not limited to evaluating, developing, maintaining and continually improving the company’s financial and administrative systems, which systems and resources are essential to the company’s provision of services to the staff and property within its jurisdiction.
- Consistently promotes a professional image of the company at all times. Attends and interacts positively and effectively in company meetings, and meetings with other agencies and the public; as directed. Shall positively and effectively communicate with other employees, the Board, and the public in the performance of the duties and responsibilities of the position.
- Compiles and analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities and capital to summarize, interpret, and project the company’s financial position for management and the Board. Ensuring that the Company’s financial statements are true and fair and otherwise conform to law.
- Develops, implements and documents accounting systems and control procedures according to general accepted accounting procedures. Oversees the company’s cooperation with the periodic Audit of the company’s finances.
- Ensuring that the Company adheres to high standards of ethics and corporate behavior; and ensuring that the Company has appropriate risk management/regulatory compliance policies in place.
