+ Responsible for the appropriate implementation of all applicable Safety Rules & Regulations to all Royal Commission Projects.
+ Conduct a regular Contractors Safety meeting to ensure appropriate compliance is taken of all applicable safety rules and regulation.
+ Conduct a regular site safety inspection to act as the client’s safety representative (The Royal Commission) and ensures that site accident prevention, fire prevention, prevention of any work related illnesses and pollution control system are being employed in all system of work to attain an accident free projects.

• Implements and monitor/s the Company’s Accident Prevention Program. Directs and coordinates the participation of all sub-contractors concerned within that program. Creates or modifies safety policies and updates Company’s Safety Manual as needed.
• Conducts regular site safety audits including the inspection of facilities, worksites, equipment, work practices, and safety devices to ensure compliance with the required workplace safety standards, regulations, and Company’s policy. Reports findings and recommends changes to establish safe work conditions.
• Investigates accidents and/or incidents at worksites to ascertain cause and need for corrective action. Develops and implements safety measures and strategies to prevent their recurrence in order to meet long-range loss-reduction goals.
• Serves as the site safety advisor and assists in complying with safety standards. Provides consultation, guidance, and technical assistance on matters related to workplace safety and health, including assisting in the development of department-specific safety manuals and advising of proper recordkeeping requirements.
• Monitors compliance with applicable laws and safety regulations. Evaluates and determines impact of changing regulations and implements necessary action to comply with laws; disseminates information to all concerned as appropriate.
• Develops and provides individual counseling, toolbox talk and on-site training to staff on safety topics such as appropriate usage of personal protective equipment, fire safety, daily safety task risk reduction talk.

• Setting up of a documented and approved safety precautions and procedures covering all aspects of the Company’s operations and systems to disseminate and implement these to all members of the organization involved.
• Performing risk assessments of each area of the construction activity and make recommendations for actions to be taken to reduce or eliminate risks.
• Ensuring that all safety procedures are being adhered to by carrying out safety audits, spot checks and reviews.
• Defining safety procedures to meet the demands of job specific hazards.
• Leading the investigation of any accidents or incidents and make recommendations on a modified procedure to avoid recurrences.
• Advising Project Managers / Engineers / Supervisors on ensuring that correct safety procedures are adhered to.
• Ensuring that all necessary statutory and other records are maintained.
• Developing within the establishment an atmosphere of safety consciousness by example, by discussion, by advice and training.
• Carrying out a regular Unsafe Act / Unsafe Condition Audits to quickly identify hazards at the work site with corrective actions to re-instate facility integrity to sustain safety, protect the environment and meet the HSE targets.

• Make, revise and the implementation of an HSE Construction Execution Safety Procedures suitable for the company’s scope of work
• Do risk assessment or job hazard analysis and initiate implementation to reduce or eliminate risk
• Ensures that all works permit system and are properly implemented and adhered to.
• Conduct Welding and Flame Cutting Safety Seminar / Basic Fire Safety Seminar
• Conduct a regular toolbox talk and to ensure that all staff has undergone a safety induction prior to commencement of work.
• Conduct a daily STARRT (Safety Task Risk Reduction Talk) program implementation prior to daily or a shift commencement of work.
• Conduct a daily walk through safety inspection at all work areas and advices all Project Managers, Supervisors, Engineers or employees concerned to immediately rectify all unsafe acts or unsafe conditions found.
• Maintains the availability of the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), their proper usage and implementation.
• Conduct an accident, incident investigation; make reports and recommendations to avoid any reoccurrence.
• Ensuring that all statutory and all any legal documents or records are properly made and maintained.

1. Make safety programs for Accident Prevention, Prevention of any work related illnesses, Fire Prevention and Pollution Control.
2. Conduct an accident and incident investigation and the proper implementation and monitoring of its recommendations to avoid re-occurrence.
3. Make a daily routine Site Safety inspection and advices all Managers / Engineers or Employees concerned to immediately rectify all unsafe acts and conditions found.
4. Maintains the availability of the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), their proper usage and implementation.
5. Facilitate the compliance of all Labor and Environmental Regulatory Permits. The proper disposal and treatment of any hazardous waste as the bi-product in the production line.
6. Maintains the 24 hours readiness of the Emergency Response Team.
7. Conduct a regular toolbox talk and safety inductions.
8. Responds to company’s emergencies like fire, typhoon and flood, evacuation, thievery, suicide, bomb threat, and chemical spill.
9. Conducts a regular Safety and Security Committee meeting. Minutes are furnished to the Department of Labor and Employment.
10. Supervise all company sentinel blue guards.
11. The official Pollution Control Officer of the company.

1. Conduct a daily routine walk through safety inspection at the construction and renovation works of the hotel. This includes excavations and confined spaces, scaffolds and work platforms, lifting operation, welding & cutting, painting works and inspection all fire- fighting safety equipment installed at the hotel.
2. Advises all Project Managers / Engineers and Supervisors concerned to immediately rectify any safety infractions or unsafe conditions found.
3. Maintains the availability of the Personal Protective Equipment their proper usage and appropriate implementation.
4. Conduct a regular toolbox talk and fire safety induction of all employees of the hotel.
5. Facilitate the compliance of the Bureau of Fire Protection regulatory Fire Safety Inspection.
6. Conduct an accident / incident investigation, make reports and recommendation to avoid the re-occurrence.
7. Conducts a bi-annual evacuation or fire drill. Responds to the hotel’s emergencies like fire, thievery and typhoon.
8. Assist hotel guest complaints and requests.
9. Ensures that all emergency exit doors, emergency exit lights are in good working order. Facilitate maintenance testing and repair.
10. Maintains the readiness of in-house fire fighting team.
11. Supervise all security blue guards and house detectives.

4 Conduct a daily routine safety inspection on welding and painting, sandblasting, polishing and sanding, metal casting and melting, power tools, machinery and equipment, and the chemical storage yard.
5. Maintains the availability of the Personal Protective Equipment their proper usage and appropriate implementation.
6. Facilitate the compliance of Environmental Laws on machinery permits to operate, the proper disposal and treatment of any hazardous waste produced in the production line in compliance with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources standards.
7. Maintains the 24 hours readiness of the Emergency Response Team that could response to fire emergencies.
8. Conduct a regular toolbox talk, safety induction. Conduct a Basic Fire Safety Training, Welding & Flame Cutting Safety Seminar.
9. Do risk assessment and make reviews of its recommendations to minimize or eliminate risk.
