as the Company’s Inspection representative in the project of SOUTH & NORTH GAS OIL SEPERATION PLANT (N-GOSP & S-GOSP) AND TRANSFER LINES TO CTEP PROJECT (EPCC), then I am based in IRICO’S office, my main duties are but not limited to:

for the country’s main turbine manufacturing company, acting as the company Inspection Engineer and Authorized Representative when resident at the contractor’ workshops encouraging me to do my best by trying to:
•Ensure potential contractors and suppliers are qualified to perform work in accordance with quality assurance standards and processes (Suppliers/ Contractors Pre-qualification Process)
•Ensure coverage is sufficient and contractors' Inspectors are of required discipline, experience and capability
•Supervise the execution and implementation of inspection and quality requirements as outlined by the Company, standards, procedures, specifications and general instructions
•Complete all company documents audit including, QCPs, welders' certificates, WPS/PQR, material certificates, NDT personnel's certificates, welding equipment calibration certificates, NDT procedures, hydrostatic and leak test procedures, painting application, dimensional inspection, final dossiers, NCRs and technical queries
•Ensure material certificates, mill test reports and material traceability records are documented and accepted including welding consumables
•Welding procedures verification and relevant qualification tests conducting/ witnessing as per different codes and standards (WPS/PQR Review)
•Four commonly used NDT techniques: their inspection, procedure verification
•Ensure the adequate close-out of non-conformity, deviation requests, and technical queries
•Review of the quality plan and inspection check list to ensure all stages are completed and signed off
•Communicate with and establish effective working relationship with external entities and internal organizations to maximize project efficiency, effectiveness, responsiveness and resource allocation
•Ensure a safe working environment in accordance with HSE policies and philosophy
Sazmand Group/ Head office based in Tehran, job location in ARYA SASOL Petrochemical Plant, Assaluyeh, Northern Coast of Persian Gulf
Within construction of two cryogenic double wall tanks, as the project’s NDT Supervisor and a member of Quality Department, I was responsible for and therefore striving to fulfill:
•Performing contract review to ensure required procedures are in place and specified normative documents such as standards, specifications, codes of practice, etc. are available at the workplace
•Maintaining accurate records and ensure that all Inspection staff on site is fully conversant with and have access to the relevant specifications and codes of practice
•Effectively Inspection/review field construction activities including; job site safety, scheduling/staffing of labor resources, documentation (including review, approval, file management, etc.), receipt of material and equipment, material fabrication/installation, QA/QC measures (including inspections and testing), supervision and project reports and takes action to correct/mitigate issues, as appropriate
•Conducting analysis to address welding repairs and its procedure verification for production/fabrication which led to decreasing the amount of repaired welds
•Ensuring Dimensional, NDT, Fit up/Welding, Painting, Hydrostatic etc. reports are produced and include critical parameters identified in Quality Plan
•Preparation of final QC dossier for handing over to the client and maintain proper filling system with full traceability for retrieving the document
•Monitoring and addressing any non-conformances in line with Company procedures, recording NCRs in database and follow up until completion

Tehran, job location in Jam Petrochemical Plant located in Assaluyeh, Persian Gulf Coast, Iran
I was to do the scope of work I was assigned to as the site third party inspector in a petrochemical complex during its construction and I was trying as hard as I can since I did know the position was my first field job. For this reason I regularly did:
•Attend selected Supplier meetings and witness/hold points (pre-award, pre-inspection, in process, Factory Acceptance Tests)
•Material inspection (plate, mill pipe, during construction and after installation) of steels and other alloys in their Weldability, tractability, condition and dimension, material documents (certificate and test reports) verification against applicable standards
•Control welding parameters and consumables related matters, such as storage, usage and certificate verification during installation/construction activities
•Ensure that all Welding, Heat Treatment, and Hardness Tests are in compliance with the relevant codes and specifications and monitor adherence to approved quality plans/inspection test plans (ITP's)
•Timely and appropriate generation, collection, dissemination and disposition of the site inspectors non-compliances
As a fresh graduate engineer I commenced my first work and continued it eagerly for that working period of time by:
•Studying the Drawing and taking BOM
•Ensuring equipment material safe storage
•Making Sure that inspection and measuring instruments used for inspection is under valid calibration and required accuracy
•Checking the availability and suitability of the filler material and of the preheating, welding, heat treatment, the bevels
•Circulating and maintaining all forms and records pertinent to the Quality Plan
