Training and motivating staff to perform at their best, training sessions vary from procedures to motivational and leadership videos which helps to inspire them.
•Ensuring all security procedures are adhered to in terms of handing over banking.
•Enforcing company’s policies and procedures and ensuring that i am aware of any new procedures that may come through and making sure it gets filtered down to all my staff.
•Selection and recruitment, screening CVs with my management team and short-listing candidates. I conduct all final interviews.
•Handling all IR within my store, I can do investigations and initiate hearings as well as being a chairperson to hearings and enquiries.
•Managing casual wages on a weekly basis, ensuring that I have not gone over budget in any way.
•Monitoring staff attendance on a weekly basis and action taken against non-compliant staff.

•Managing cash discrepancies by following the companies disciplinary code for cash discrepancies. All discrepancies are investigated thoroughly.
•Conducting stock adjustments daily to identify out of lines or shrinkage and focusing on a workable action plan to minimise shrinkage.
•Shrinkage is managed by having regular meetings with security staff and focus on training (suspicious customers)
•Growing our customer base by opening new accounts and creating new business.
•Offering the best customer service by going the extra mile to ensure total customer satisfaction, making it a point to know who my regular customers are, and continually informing them of upcoming events and promotions.
•Driving turnover by promoting multiple sales and ensuring that staff are aware of our targets are how far we are to achieving targets. Ensuring that a plan is in place to achieving our target.
•I liaise with buyers and planners on a regular basis for stock as well as to query poor quality merchandise that may come through and customer feedback on our merchandise. Liaise with cosmetic reps. on upcoming GWPs so that i can plan events to achieve targets and drive turnover.
