Managing overall Landscape Projects of the Company.
• Planning, Managing and operating hard landscape and soft landscape projects.
• Oversight inspection and implementation of hard landscape and soft landscape and irrigation network activities.
• Reading all kinds of drawings and implementing activities as per drawings and BOQs.
• Handling clients and consultants and modification as per site instructions.
• Managing Material inspections and material requisitions, getting approvals from Consultants.
• Being focal person with logistic department, suppliers, contractors and sub-contractors.
• Developing periodical progress reports of projects.
• Maintain strong relationship with clients and develop new clients.
• Analyzing financial needs of the clients and providing affordable solutions.
• Developing client leads and achieving sales targets.
• Manage fiscal record and keep up dated data of the clients.
• Handle telephones and customers; keep all records up-dated.
• Coordinate and communicate with all colleagues and report manager.
• Manage Projects within the guideline Project Management principles; i.e Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Controlling and closing within time and project cost.
• Plan and schedule Project activities efficiently in order to meet client requirements for construction and particularly for maintenance work.
• Prepares necessary paper work for the completion of work and get it authorized by consultant.
• Develops relationship with Consultants, Sub-contractors, Project Team and Government Agencies involved.
• Getting approvals from government bodies impacted through project activities.
• Finalizing BOQs, Purchase Orders, ETC.
• Execute soft landscape, irrigation operations in specifics with Architects/Consultant to achieve client requirements.
• Supervise and Monitor the site staff and labor force through Engineers, supervisor/foreman; for all landscape maintenance/construction from drawing till handover.
• Oversees the requisition of materials for use in the construction/maintenance and check whether the materials are specified.
• To be focal point for all partner agencies with regard to Project Activities; focusing on the resource mobilization, data collection and analysis, capacity building and participation of communities towards shelter project objectives.
• To liaise with and when necessary provide advice to local partner agencies on matter related to quality control and transparent accountability of desired project activities focused on hard and soft landscaping.
• To perform monitoring and evaluation oversight of implementing partner activities. Document findings and forward to Project Coordinator in weekly updates and monthly reports.
• To coordinate closely with technical staff of shelter project, ensuring effective sharing of information and efficient use of resources.
• To identify foreseeable obstacles to project delivery in a timely fashion and contribute to resolving them.
• Ensures proper document classification, sorting, filing and proper archiving.
• Represents UNOPS relevant shelter related meetings at the District and Provincial level as required.
• Help, facilitate the technical trainings of local partners, community based organizations in line with UNOPS undertaking to ‘’Build Back Better’’ utilizing risk mitigating construction practices.
• To work on diverse projects - both urban and rural - that range from designing the layout of parks, gardens and housing estates to city-centre design, sporting sites and improving land affected by rains.
• Preparing budgets for ongoing Landscaping Projects.
• Bidding and selection of consultants, contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers etc.
• General Administration, assisting Deputy District Officer in handling bidding, procurement, tender document development, reporting and coordinating with DCO Office.
