Major Responsibilities:
• Manufacturing and production of twin block concrete sleepers (75 R and 100 R) for Pakistan Railways as per standard specifications and drawings.
• To maintain quality control of the products by conducting all laboratories test as per standard requirements.
• Maintenance, repair and purchasing of machineries, tools and plants as per PPRA rules and regulations.
• Maintenance and repair of civil works of factory buildings as well as residential colony of the employees.
• As a team leader (Incharge of the factory) to solve all the administration and technical issues of the factory.
• To conduct meetings with all sub ordinates as well as to attend meetings in MD/ HQ office.
• To manage and utilize the funds to improve the production and quality of products.
• To follow and ensure the standard measures of safety.
• Office documentation and correspondence with MD and HQ office.

Major Responsibilities:.
• Supervision, inspection and checking (alignments, gauges, fittings and fastenings, track components i.e. inspection of rails, sleepers and ballast etc.) of all main and branch lines.
• Inspection, checking, maintenance and repair of all service buildings (Railway Stations), employees’ residential houses, Railways offices and Railways rest houses existing in Pakistan Railways.
• Providing water supply and sanitation system to all Railways Stations (services buildings), offices and residential houses existing in Pakistan Railways.
• Checking of horizontal and vertical curves by inspecting super elevations, versine, cross level, curve degrees, gauges etc and its adjustment.
• Inspection of level crossings by checking its gauge, cross level, clearances, check rails, distance blocks, gate leaves, gate signals, road surfaces and equipment of the gate keepers.
• Inspection of points and crossings by checking wears, gauges, cross levels and clearances etc at toes, heels and noses etc.
• Inspection, checking and repair of Railways bridges (major and minor bridges) i.e. inspection of sub structure (abutments, piers) and super structure (rail, sleepers, bridge timbers, fittings and fastenings etc).
• Checking and maintaining of p-way quarterly registers, bridge registers, curves registers and points and crossing registers.
• Checking and inspection of P-way and Works stores and its accounts registers
• Office documentations and drafting etc.
• Scrutinizing and vetting of all types of Clearance Concept Proposals, Feasibilities Studies and PC-1’s.
• Preparation of various plans to improve and enhance the existing facilities of Pakistan Railways.
• Taking and planning various steps to equipped Pakistan Railway with latest technology
• Planning to link Pakistan with neighboring countries, central Asia and Turkey.
• Preparation of working papers for all types of projects related to Pakistan Railways
