Country point of contact on all matters related to Networks, infrastructure, systems, data center, information security, physical security and disaster recovery.
Manage and control LAN/WAN by coordinating with KL / USA / UK support teams in providing support to Pakistan users related to infrastructure, account management, systems and information security.
Provided support to users all over the country on issues related to MS windows, MS office, CITRIX, All AIG internet based applications, Exchange server. Blackberry server, IPhone and other issue of users related Hardware and Software.
Data back-up management, recording, control and storage on a daily basis.
Remotely provide support to branch networks and staff in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Faisalabad.
Maintain, control and update country hardware inventory and coordinate with regional office on a regular basis. This also includes insurance requirement for hardware equipment.
Deal with various IT Vendors such as DELL, HP, APC, CISCO, EMERSON etc. on day to day procurements and acquire and ensure quality support from them.
Deal with all ISPs providing support to AIG local and international networks for MPLS cloud and data cloud connectivity.
Reporting IT issues and progress updates to EMEA regional, US and UAE Management through regular conference calls, emails and web conferencing.
Manage Video and Audio call through PABX and software for various organizational requirement
Country point of contact for information security as per AIG global standards and regular update on McAfee EPO Server to AIG Global Security Team.
Maintain company PABX and users extension related issues and get support from the vendor for hardware and software.
Manage and control company’s CCTV and access control system at head office and up-country branch offices.
Manage and control time devices such as Time Management Control (both hardware and software)
Data center and UPS room security and management.
Manage Printers, Scanners, Fax, Document Management scanning station and MM projector s
Country point of contact and responsible for full compliance of Company policies and standards related to, E-mails, Internet, networks, security and infrastructure.
Directly reporting to Regional Infrastructure Manager in Dubai with matrix reporting to local IT manager.
Manage client and vendor handling.
Installing, Reinstalling & Troubleshooting of Computer.
Prepare and maintain all warranty documents according to distributor and manufacturer requirement.
Monitor all customer inquiries and requests on all warranty issues.
Maintain records of customer details and warranty references.
Ensure customer satisfaction and ensure compliance to all warranty specifications.
Scheduling servicing or repair appointments
Keeping abreast of company news and policies to ensure claims are assessed along the correct lines
Installing, Reinstalling & Troubleshooting Network and supporting client with different configuration. Maintain all Computers in Network environment.
Handling Client Data
Virus Scanning of Client computer
Network cable assembling
Configure Printers, scanner, Fax Machine and MM Projector.
