Lead, Manage, supervise, guide and control project control team (Planning and Cost Control) to achieve the set project targets in terms of planning and cost control (i.e. schedule, resources, productivity, efficiency, progress, cost, CPI, etc.) during all phases of the project (i.e. Engineering, Procurement, Construction etc.).
• Set-up the Project Control strategy, priorities and deliverables in consultation with CEO, CFO and Project Managers.
• Liaison with project teams to ensure proper understanding and running of the approved project plan.
• Ensure proper implementation and efficient utilization of Project Control system (software and services).
• Perform schedule monitoring and identify critical activities.
• Generate cash flow, resources, material & equipment histograms and curves to present the project demand curves.
• Evaluate subcontractors’ schedules and align them with project’s master and baseline schedule.
• Highlight problem areas to CEO, CFO and concerned Project Manager and suggest remedial action(s).
• Conduct project sensitivity analysis using regression & statistical analysis to determine the impact of resource availability and probability of project completion.
• Set contingency plan, risk analysis and risk assessment by using pert and decision tree method, the objective is to determine the auxiliary actions to be taken in case of unexpected developments or accident in the project.
• Reinforcement of the importance of achieving cost and schedule goals; as well as quality.
• Develop process for regular forecast of estimated final contract price and project cost.
• Identifies, monitor, track and report the project baseline budget VS actual project budget on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Verifies and monitor quantities and man-hour accrual and measure site performance and crew productivity.
• Monitor project cost by using Earned Value Management (EV), Earned Schedule Management (ES), Cost Performance Index (CPI) & project balance techniques, and report the periodical financial statement, in addition to monitor and budget deviations.
• Maintain consistency in cost bases through rigorous adherence to the controls processes.
• Use Activity Based Costing (ABC) as a concurrent method to monitor the performed work cost and to analyze breakdown cost for all project activities.
