• Led the process for modification in piping that increased flexibility in naphtha processing, eliminating common circuits in two systems, allowing to keep slop reprocessing in distillation units while aligning feed to naphtha stabilizer, minimizing slop inventory.
• Led the process for installation of new feed pumps in dewaxing unit, increasing the service factor from 0% to 100%, with earnings of 48 MM $ / year.
• Led and spearheaded written and verbal presentation to General Management from Technical-Operative studies made to Process Units in order to decide operating continuity based on results and evaluations
• Designed and executed operational strategies for piping replace recommended by Fixed Equipment Engineers in NMP treatment unit
• Applied strategies with personnel management that allowed to decrease overtime hours
• Updated training programs for operators, making audits assuring knowledge from programs updated.
• Updated SOP / EOP
• Assured necessary training for Chief Plants in safety software for statistical process.
• Reviewed budget assuring that money spent it´s on target.
• Proposed new routings to air supply to control valves from Asphalt Dispatch, which will allow to increase MTBF in pumps from 1 month to 6 - 7 months.
