Site Responsible for the quality control, engineering construction supervision of material, techniques in installation, workmanship and testing of all works related to installation of electrical and electronics/low current system equipment. Witness Testing & Commissioning and ensure project completion handed over to the client in conformity with all contract documents for various type of building (commercial, industrial, private or government sector), waste water treatment, and infrastructure project from low current, low voltage to medium voltage system. Other duties includes:
1. Review and action technical submittal of Contractor's shop drawings, Coordination Service drawing, as-built drawing, materials, proposal, data sheets & samples in compliant with ministerial requirements & specifications; 2. Supervise implementation of the contract documents, such as design drawings, specifications, Bill of Quantities and contract conditions on site. Ensure works are coordinated with all other trades and as per Construction Supervision Manual of electrical system installation; 3. Report and coordinating with Resident Engineer. Prepare detailed reports which will assist the Resident Engineer in his study of progress of works and related issues; 4. Coordinating with Asst. Resident Engineer and Site Engineers related to Electrical System installation; 5. Ensure that non-compliance of Construction Schedule is reported to Resident Engineer on timely basis to avoid any delay in construction;6.Verifying Contractor performance to Specification & quality of his work.7. Review electrical engineering calculations to ensure safety and reliability of electrical system materials and equipment; 8. Perform final inspection and assist in Commissioning of completed system; 9. Keep abreast on changes in local Ministerial requirements on Electrical System and update changes in electrical specification, equipment/components, etc. Assist Contractor’s approval of drawing from statutory authorities; 10. Witness testing & commissioning;11 Ensure Contractor’s submittal of close-out requirements such as Operation & Maintenance Data and Manuals, Spare Parts, Warranty Certificates and necessary handing over documents.

Supervising on-site electrical system installations and the subsequent testing and commissioning of Generator; 11kV MV AIS Switchgear; 415V Switchboards (MLTB, EMLTB, MSB, EMSB); Distribution Boards, Automatic Transfer Switch; Chiller Change Over Panel; Feeder Pillars; Capacitor Banks; Uninterruptible Power Supply; Dry Type Power Transformer (11kV/415v); 3.3kV Medium & 415v Low Voltage Induction Motors; various type of Starter (DOL, Star Delta, Soft Starter); VFDs; Motor Control Centre; 11kV, 3, 3kV, 415v XLPE Cu/Al Cables; HT & LT Sub-station and Transformer Room; Earthing and Bonding System; and specified

Electrical Calculations & Design Review handled:

Directed use of Micro station software; Proficiency in AutoCAD software; and Worked as a GIS technical support on ADWEA Electrical Project for 4 months using GIS software during 2002.
