• Review of Contractor’s inspection, surveying and test requests and subsequent completed reports.
• Monitoring the performance of the survey party.
• Review and Approval of the Contractor’s proposed materials and methods as delegated by the Resident Engineer.
• Continuous Field Inspections of the work in the progress and consultation with both the Resident Engineer’s and Contractor’s supervisory staff.
• Preparation of written and oral reports to the Resident Engineer on contractual and procedural matters.
• Coordinates with contractors and agencies about different tasks and projects.
• Performs and analyzes testing of construction materials, including concrete, soil, and asphalt.
• Maintains a daily diary, photo log, contract item quantities.
• Verifies acceptability of material incorporated into the project and maintains material and inspection records.
• Assures project's quality control and quality assurance standards.
• Inspect delivery, placing, and curing of concrete and the placing of reinforcing steel.
• Inspects and approves contractors work and assure adherence to contract documents.
• Prepares and updates project logs for submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
Preparation of Documents for Material Submittal, RFI’s to the Client.
Coordination and liaison with the Client, consultant and the Project management team to meet the Project completion target in compliance with the Project Quality plan and HSE policies.
Planning daily activities of civil construction works and preparing the required permits accordingly. Also ensures the Permit to work system is followed inside the plant.
Examines and checks the plans and specification for compliance with various codes and regulations to assure good structural practices and to determine errors in design and construction. Also coordinate with the surveyor for ensuring the elevations and locations of work are in accordance with the Project Specifications and Drawings.
Update and maintain all site records and ensure proper management of the Project information with ISO standards and QA/QC procedures.
Review job hazard analysis, risk assessment and other safety documentation at siteto esure all preventive control measures are stated / raise (recommendations / rectifications) where necessary.
Participate regular safety meetings and weekly walk through’s, establish and identify potential hazards or risks, undertake inspections and audits to ensure the previous issues are rectified at site and also ensure HSE policy & plan are implemented on site.
Preparation of Material submittal documents, checking whether these meets the Project requirements and coordination with the Procurement team for delivery of the appropriate material in the right time.
Supervision and execution of Civil and structural works on site.
supervision of the building, infrastructure and utilities works .
Reviewing the drawings and complying the works done on site as per approved drawings and Project Specifications.
Review method statements, proposed tasks and activities ensuring the methods are compliant with the Project and quality requirements and during the works monitor implementation.
Review Inspection test plan (ITP) to monitor frequency of sampling, analysis and testing.
Work includes earthwork preparation (cut & fill), concrete protection of duct banks of primary cable trenches, laying subgrade and sub base for rigid and flexible pavements.
Keep record of Inspection requests and update the work status records to monitor contractor’s daily activities that may lead to claims and penalties.
Ensure HSE policy & plan are implemented / followed on site and monitor contractor’s compliance by keeping an updated record in order to assess their HSE performance.
Supervision and execution of Civil / Structural work at Site.
Coordination of work with other disciplines for progress of the work without any interruption.
Supervision of pipe laying for Drainage, Soak ways, manholes etc.
Monitory Project on a daily basis.
Reviewing drawings prior to the commencement of work.
Maintains awareness of the project civil and structural specifications and drawings.
Raising of Inspection Request for the works done on the site.
Preparation of Documents for Material Submittal, RFI’s to the Client.

Prepares all Project reports required, internally and externally with the assistance of Project support services where required.
Supervise the execution of works at site with subcontractors according to the plans, Specs and local regulations and manage site budget and HSE plan for site. Resolving issues with public adjacent to the work place diplomatically.
Prepare daily site inspection reports and periodic progress reports of construction and installation of work. Maintain Project drawing information including construction status and asbuilts.
