This project is to implement and replace current exchange2003 platform with Exchange2010 and then migrate the mailboxes from exchange 2003 to 2010. SCOM 2007 will replace the current MOM 2005 environment and System Centre configuration manger2007 will bring the SCCM environment in the infrastructure. This project is outsourced to Dell to implement. Over saw the Dell’s project management and monitored the progress. Managed the entire procurement for the project. Liaised with different vendors and got the approvals necessary for the project to implement it in the environment like Change request, Design Approval, etc. For Dell acted as the stake holder and managed the relationship between Dell, Microsoft and the in-house consultants or associates related to this project.

Disaster Recovery Data Centre Implementation
Role: Technology Project Manager
The Client has a single data centre in US for a long time. In the scenario of a natural calamity, accident or any other disaster which affects the primary data centre, client will face Huge revenue loss due to the downtime caused by the incident. The Disaster Recovery Data centre will help us to achieve redundancy and more uptime which has also become a requirement from the Client side to ensure business continuity. Managed the end to end solution implementation and tested the DR facility & features and transition new DC to support teams.
Project Methodology: Waterfall
Project Management tools: MS Project Server, Resources managed using SuccessFactor, Budget managed using IBM Cognose tools., Program managed via Optimus a cloud based tool for global project/ program management. Reports generated using crystal reports. Changes managed via BMC Remedy.

OIC is the owners for incident management and the first level support people for the corporate applications for the GE and monitor the DWH tasks and routine tasks. We liaise with the Application owners and the rest of technical teams in order to do the incident management. Also, operated on off shore centric model with onsite presence. Managed the 35-member team which run on 24/7 mode. It has both offshore and onsite members. Village Resource Centre (VRC) Programme for MSSRF-ISRO
Information Village Research Project: The Information Village Research Project (IVRP), implemented by the MS Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF), is to extend the benefits of information technology to the rural poor. Information village shops equipped with computers, telephones, and dial-up connectivity is established in 10 villages of Pondicherry, Southern India. Information is downloaded from the Internet and transformed into locally specific information that directly benefits the villagers. Such information consists of the daily local news, latest prices of agricultural crops and inputs, weather reports, and government programs, to name a few. One of the distinctive features of the project is local content creation by volunteers from various sources. More than 100 databases have been created that provide updated information on issues ranging from crop prices to government programs.
AS part of the technical team who manages the IT infrastructure for this project managed the Hub centre at Pondicherry, provided support and trouble shoot technical issues on time for the un interrupted project work. Besides this in this setup LAN and WAN to connect 11 villages to the HUB centre. Besides set up a Network radio using the helix universal server for streaming. And also, setup internet Cable TV synchronization and established a cable radio service for the villagers.
Open Knowledge Network (OKN): The OKN was launched in collaboration with OneWorld International, UK. OKN is a human network which collects, shares and disseminates local knowledge about health, local culture and practices, education, agriculture, government schemes, jobs and markets. Two other hubs are located in East and West Africa. Through this network, access points from India and Africa share their local news through World Space Satellite and Internet. The local news is produced in Tamil and Swahili and the Meta tags are in English. I was the lead technical team member from India to set up the intercontinental network and implementing the infrastructure for this project. This includes setting up and commissioning the WorldSpace satellite radio and interfacing it with the computer networks and PCs available in the village resource centres.
