I was hired by Emirates to develop and manage the VIP charter division of Emirates Airlines with a fleet of A319 CJ. From the time I joined all VIP and commercial charter requests were personally supervised / handled by me.

My responsibilities included:

-Developing relationships with brokerage firms / corporate clients to secure new business
- Account management for existing key clients
- Annual budgeting for the VIP Charter department
- Developing the marketing strategy for A319 CJ including participation in key trade shows / events, advertising, PR activities etc. Handled the operational & marketing activity of the A319 CJ during the Dubai & Bahrain Airshow
- Developing policies and procedures for the department, MIS reporting templates, quotation & contract templates
- Defining the pricing policy in order to standardize charter quotations
- Acting as a liaison with various departments within the Emirates group to ensure specific client requirements are understood and appropriate arrangements are made
- Working with flight ops to co-ordinate & negotiate with various aeronautical authorities for the required permits and slots
- Liaising and negotiating with flight support companies for better ground handling charges
