Interpreting the contract and assisting the proponent dept. in its application.
Co-ordination of contractual issues/works related to the project.
Review if project correspondences received and advise any problem areas together with identification of any changes/additions/deletions to the contract.
Co-ordinate performance bonds and insurance and ensuring that they are in place in accordance with the main contract and any sub-contract conditions.
Actively draft all contractual correspondence and ensure follow up.
Ensuring that clear and accurate records of contractual matters are maintained and to monitor key dates, against dates defined in the main contract and any sub-contracts.

Adjudicating on the validity of claims presented by the Subcontractor.
Responsible for Drafting the Sub-contract Agreement and Addendum.
Studies the main draft of Sub-contract prior to the finalization with the Subcontractor.
Updating the departmental head the status of the work and any significant change to the program before any extinction of the time is granted to the Sub-contractor.
Issue amendment where necessary.
Looking after the Insurance Claim.
Checking the invoice of sub-contractor & forwarding to Accounts department for payment.
Check the requisition for correctness with respect to Scope of Work.
Networking with Corporate Leaderships and other Departments. .
Involved in preparation of contract documents including conditions of contract and BOQs of Contract.
Post contract issues such as follow-up, invoice/claim settlement, interpretation, dispute resolution and contract Administration etc.
Independent Correspondence with the Contractors on all contract related issues.
