English & Social Studies teacher for grade 4 at the International Community School in Abu Dhabi teaching a variety of children from various nationalities.
Duties / Key Accountabilities
Teach and provide academic support for each class in English and Social Studies.
Ensure that the students in each class are up to date with each week's work, through continuous academic assessment.
Prepare lessons and lesson plans:
Creative and interesting, age appropriate teaching that sees that the children in each class are able to grasp difficult concepts.
Facilitate support for students who are struggling in weekly tests and periodic exams.
Providing additional academic support twice a week for students in the grade 4 level who are not keeping up academically with students in their regular classes.
Prepare creative lesson plans aimed at reinforcing concepts that students are struggling to understand in their regular classes.
• Identify, promote and implement programs and initiatives designed to increase sales and profitability, including marketing strategy, pricing, product development, purchasing, sales promotion and advertising.
• Work in conjunction with the Sales Engineers and Account Executives toward the achievement of the assigned business objectives
• Developing and managing marketing communication materials (corporate brochures and stationery, internal newsletter, presentation material)
• Managing advertising activities
• Liaising with trade publications, newspapers and trade journals for submission of advertising, articles, announcements, etc.
