Assigned to Petroleum Development Oman project as the cementing focal point and senior technical engineer handling the PDO engineering team and providing technical and engineering support for HP and HT exploration wells.
Technical Lead Engineer for Petroleum Development Oman HPHT cementing operations.
Comprehensive expertise in designing cement slurries for densities ranging from 10 ppg to 19 ppg (Tuned Light cement Slurries, Antigas migration Slurries, Elasticem Slurries, Thermacem Slurries, Expandacem Slurries) and BHT ranging from 40 C to 170 C.
Preparation and submission of Technical Cementing Proposals including job procedures, 2D simulation charts and 3D displacement curves.
Preparation of Design of Service (DoS) for cementing of PDO wells.
Prepared and designed cement jobs for more than 50 wells including HPHT Oil & Gas Exploration wells and numerous number of Development Wells.
Liaise and interact between PDO team and Halliburton base for execution of cementing jobs.
Monthly forecast for chemicals and revenue for cementing jobs in Petroleum Development Oman.
Supervising and coaching the young and senior engineers. Official mentor for junior engineers in developing their engineering skills and knowledge.
Strong grasp on lab testing procedures and cementing additives.
Yearly audit of cement labs and field visits.
Provided cementing job design, well support, and post job analysis to Country customers. Develops and maintains personal relationship with the technical customer base in designated area.
Actively participated in preparation of business proposals, bids and tenders for cementing contracts.
Lead Engineer for OGDCL Pakistan, ENI Pakistan and MOL Pakistan and ran 6 to 7 rigs operation.
Mentoring of fresh engineers by giving them in house trainings.
Job Designing: Gained invaluable experience in designing and working with cement slurries ranging from 9 ppg light weight slurry to 20 ppg heavy weight slurry; using Tuned Light Cements, Salt Saturated Cements, AntiGas Migration slurries etc.
Preparation of Cement Job program, involving job volume calculations, costs etc. in meetings with the Client representative and Halliburton Service Coordinator.
Pre-job and Post Job Reporting: Development of Job Designs using Halliburton Simulators, Basic Real Time Data Acquisition, and Real Time Quality Control through acquisition of advanced data like Real time ECD. Also involved in post job analysis of cement jobs by Design vs. RT comparisons.
Liaise and interact with different professionals including Mud Engineers, Loggers, Directional Drillers, MWD/LWD Engineers & Geologists to design, execute and evaluate cement jobs.

Attended numerous field jobs and worked with the cement crew for rig up, rig down, mixing and execution of cement jobs.
