 Preparing site daily works; this must include delivery notes, and accurately document all inspections undertaken and submit daily reports together with any supporting documentation to the QC Manager.
 Raise non-conformances and observation when required for non-conforming product, work, process, etc.
 Maintaining calibration certificates for all testing equipment used on site, including those used by subcontractors.
 Snagging the works near and at completion works and ensuring that they are cleared to reduce main contractor/client snags.
 Ensure that storage of materials is made as required by manufacturers including shelf lives and verify materials issued and used on site are from the approved stock, assure products identification, tracing, documentation from receipt till installation.
 Monitor and check revision status of drawings used on site by construction team including subcontractors, to ensure that no superseded drawings are at point of use.
 Responsible for daily inspection activities of the QC department.
 Supervisor and resolve quality problems as they are revealed through inspection procedures.
 Focal point for all product related quality issues.
 Monitor and report on product compliance to drawings, specifications and workmanship issues.
 Coordinate and support customer source inspections.
 Responsible for raising NCR and propose corrective action and resolve problem follow up with construction to close the NCR.
