• Daily site inspection request by Main Contractor’s such as Material Deliver at site, Daily Civil Work activities inspection and Some Testing from 3rd Party.
• Monitoring and control quality work at site to ensure they followed Specifications, Method Statements, ITP’s and Updated Construction drawing.
• Review material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, samples and other documents submitted by the Contractors.
• Witness and supervise sampling / testing of materials from suppliers and 3rd Party and review its test results.
• Implement procedures on site for Quality Assurance and Quality Control as per Project Quality Plan.
• Issuance of Non-conformance Report (NCR) and Site observation Report for any deviation from Specification/QCS and Quality procedures from PQP and discuss to the Main Contractor’s. Then Follow-up and check corrective works being undertaken by the Contractors.
• Review Contractor’s Progress Reports (Weekly and Monthly) and compares them to the actual n progress of the Projects.
• Assist the Contractors and provide design clarifications, corrections and amendments of the contract documents.
• Prepare progressive snagging lists throughout the construction period culminating in a final list of snags attached to the Taking Over Certificate.
• Monitor safe work practices at site. Inspect safety measures taken by the Contractors.
• Maintain records of all proceedings, correspondence, approval and milestones of the assigned Projects.
• Conduct and minute project meetings with Client, Contractor and Subcontractors to review progress for assurance of the completion of Project on time.
• Overlook works assigned to team members.
• Any other jobs as may be assigned by the Department Manager.

Senior QA/QC Engineer at WCT

1. Basic Function
Responsible in managing and overseeing all site activities involving inspection, monitoring, controlling, evaluation, review and documentation for structural and architectural work within the project. Assist QAQC manager as directed.

2. Work performed (80% workload mainly on site)
• Carries-out daily work inspection request (WIR) with the Consultant, Sub-con and Site Operation.
• Carries-out testing together with Consultant and third party testing agency on some special cases.
• Monitors concrete delivery and pouring of concrete together with Consultant and site operation to ensure proper work pouring sequence and execution.
• Control and inspection of material delivered on site prior to Material Inspection Request (MIR).
• Accompany Consultant for plant visit with our Sub-con/third party in such cases needed inspection for approval.
• Check and verify materials/equipment’s/const. plans used in site to ensure proper storage, handling, usage, updated calibration, and updated const. plans to our site operation/Sub-con/Third party.
• Coordinates to QAQC engineer of our sub-con/third party concerning update on quality issues/rectification works.

3. Work performed (20% workload office documentation)
• Prepares Material Inspection Request (MIR)
• Follow-up with Consultant on material submittal, NCR and Work Method Statement for approval.
• Prepares and review Work Method Statement (WMS) and Inspection Test Plan (ITP) of Sub-con and third party prior for submittal.
• Maintains material sample, Work Method Statement (WMS), Non-Conformance Report (NCR), Third party testing result, Work Inspection Request (WIR), and Checklist register.
