Main task and duties were to provide overall management and integration of all aspects of the proposal process to ensure a comprehensive proposal to the customer that best outlines the Company's best offer while addressing the customer specific requirements. As Proposal Manager I get involved at the Go/No Go decision and assumed ownership of the process at the Bid/No Bid state of the process through execution turn over package or loss analysis report.
Functional responsibilities consisted of: Development of the bid strategy, proposal and resources requirements.
Assurance of DOR / DOW alignment.
Completion of Technical and Commercial Risk evaluations.
Establishment of any commercial agreements including Terms and Conditions assessment.
Generation of the proposal document.
Development of final pricing evaluations.
Resolution of conflicting and / or complex items.
Assurance of completion of all appropriate reviews.
Compliance with Company directives & firm bids and resultant offers are at approved margin levels.

Having the below tasks and duties
1. To obtain documents for proposal & Tendering required (working with international groups)
2. Responsible for Pre-Bid stage activities & post order co-ordinates concern departments.
3. Prepare & review a bid preparation schedule for submission of bids.
4. Reparation of prime cost estimates, tenders & risk assessment checklist for justification of contingency if any submission for management.
5. Do pricing for the project as company format.
6. Compile and issue clarifications and requests to the client and share client feedback in terms of scope, additional information etc.
7. Review Construction offers received from various subcontractors and estimate cost for Project. 8.Support which includes Engineering, Procurement Services, site Facilities, Travel, Inspection Costs, vendor Rep cost & other Third Party Service costs.
9. Review of Project Schedule and cost estimates to be submitted along with Bid.
10. Prepare technical and commercial proposals as per client requirement with respect to project execution plans, organization charts job specific technical write ups, bank guarantees, commercial and technical qualifications and prepare responses to the client post bid queries.
11. Study the technical part of Tender Document and understand the technical specifications/customer requirements.
12. Pre-bid engineering estimation project by co-ordination with design, engineering & R&D.

Process / Commission Engineer Organic and Inorganic
Primarily involved in engineering, commissioning and final testing of Ammonia, UREA and polyethylene plants.
