Review and approve ( make recommendation for approval by RESIDENT ENGINEER ) of all submit matarials by contractor.
Review and approve (make recommendation for approval by Sr. Engineer/Resident Engineer) of all QA/QC submittals.
Witness/check testing of concrete cylinder and concrete cubes samples.
Witness/check testing of fresh concrete, ( concrete temperature, slump test, air content and sampling of concrete cylinder)
Witness/check field density test.
Inspect material deliveries at site and warehouse.
Ensure inspection and checking of all delivered materials to site for conformances to the project requirements and approval, as directed by senior engineer and resident engineer.
Assist in the development of testing procedures.
Visit factories to ensure proper manufacture and testing of material produced.
Visit quarries, crusher plant, concrete bacthing plant to ensure proper manufacture and testing of material produce.
Supervise project construction adherence to plans and specifications and also sacertain progress
and status of the project.
Direct/supervise driving and splicing of permanent steel casing of bored piles.
Direct/supervise installation of rebar cages of bored piles.
Supervise boring and concrete pouring and other important aspects of work in bored piling
Direct/ Supervise forms installation and rebars installation, ( spacing and covering of rebars).
Supervise erection of pre- stress concrete girders, ( Installation of bearing pads, check spacing of concrete girders from center to center).
Coordinate with foremans, masons, carpenters and labors for their needs during fabrication, installation of forms and rebars.
Monitor all concrete pouring of all structures of the bridge (footing, columns, coping beams, slabs, sidewalks, railings) during concrete casting .
Direct/Supervise the preparation of PILE INTEGRETY TEST AND PILE DYNAMIC TEST of bored piles.
Supervise erection of steel girders, (installation of anchor bolts, bearing pads, splicing, welding, placing of non shrink grouts and others ).
Direct/supervise removal of forms.
Prepare daily log book, (man powers, equipments and daily activities)
Attend site meeting with PM and DPWH Engineers.
Direct/supervise finishing work, (Plastering and Painting ).
Check/supervise safety measure during installation of formworks, concrete pouring, erection of concrete and steel girders.
