PROJECT:
1. DIRECTIONAL RAMP FROM AL KHAIL ROAD TO FINANCIAL CENTER ROAD
2. R1048/1A IMPROVEMENTS OF EXPO 2020 ROADS NETWORK
3. UPGRADE OF DUBAI - AL AIN ROAD - CONTRACT 1A


Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Execution and supervision of work as per drawing and specifications. Forecasting and control of labor forces. Planning work program. Coordinating with Client and Consultant Engineers and nominated Subcontractors.
2. Prepares and review method statements to be submitted to the site agent.
3. Controls, supervises and coordinates all allocated activities of the project to ensure that respective works meet and exceed performance and meet financial requirements and the quality objectives and policies of the Company are achieved.
4. Obtain weekly / fortnightly programs from the Project Manager, assign work to teams ensuring that work schedules are met.
5. Ensures the availability of resources (manpower, plant and material) prior to the onset of work. Report shortages to the Project Manager.
6. Provide technical guidelines and advice team on construction techniques and methods to be adopted based on assumptions made in the Bill of Quantities.
7. Ensures all approvals and NOCs are in place prior to executing works, this includes shop drawings, permit to dig, etc.
8. Prepares work plans, completion report s and calculation when required.
9. Approves work related documents such time sheets summaries, material receipt documentation, etc.
10. Ensures all works are carried out according to required international and local laws and standards.
11. Advices alternative construction methods that may be cost effective and time efficient.
12. Attends weekly internal project meetings, communicate potential problems and deficiencies, discuss work methodology and performance requirements (completed and future).
13. Carries out daily site inspections ensuring that all safe, environmental and quality requirements are met and maintained. Ensure good housekeeping to the highest possible standard.
14. Ensures method statements are available for extra ordinary works and follow instructions specified therein.
15. Be knowledgeable of safety standard requirements and procedures, ensuring safe and healthy work places for employees. Adopt safe working practices
16. Ensures all employees promptly report incidents, accidents or near misses to site HSEA.
17. Provides support to HSEA ensuring that corrective / preventive actions are taken when non conformances are reported or safe working practices needs to be adopted.

1. Ensures the best quality of work delivered with strict supervision and management efforts.
2. Daily monitoring of rebar works, formworks and concrete works for various structures such as overpass, reinforced concrete box culvert, sub-structures and superstructures of interchange, bridges and viaducts.
3. Reviews approved plans and schedules with a view to improve before the completion date of the project.
4. Ensures that the details of the approved plans are fully understood and properly applied by site engineers and that all preparations are in order.
5. Coordinates with other supervisors regarding the equipments and materials to be used on site.
6. Submits material request, daily activity and manpower reports to the Construction Manager.
7. Attends daily coordination meetings with the Construction Manager regarding the progress of the project with respect to the project schedules and planning.
8. Submits inspection requests to the owner’s representative for approval of rebar works and formworks before concrete casting.

2.2.2 Concrete encasement of laid PVC pipes
2.2.3 Construction of reinforced concrete manhole
2.3 CONSTRUCTION OF 101lm. WESTGROVE HEIGHTS BRIDGE NO.2 and INCHICAN BRIDGE
