Key Result Areas:
Determining the company’s goals and risk tolerance
Spearheading the reconciliation of the front office system with the back-office system for managing & mitigating the risks/exposures
Administering the treasury product and ensuring that the same are processed within the limits and SLAs defined
Coordinating with the senior head in Treasury, Finance and Operations and informing them of any limit or procedure breached
Keeping a track and preparing reports on KRI metrics that includes Daily Violations reports which shows number of deals reversed, deals cancelled, counterparty limit excesses and so on
Liaising with the IT Department to resolve issues, set up new treasury products and implement new treasury system in the organization
Directing oversight of internal & external auditors, working closely with the Board Audit Committee; engaged in monitoring and assessing Counterparty risk processed under Treasury marketing unit
Extending day-to-day supervision, managing the team’s work and dealing with the HR issues
Managing day-to-day operational risk management activities such as risk and controls assessments, incident capture and analysis, and scenario analysis and planning
Strengthening relationships with business partners and risk control functions; monitoring the FX & MM counterparty excess limit and report violation to General Manager: Treasury
Preparing compliance report for Central Bank of Kuwait and providing interpretation
Engaged in MTM of FX outstanding deals to value position and determine P&L

Significant Accomplishments:
Brought in additional operational changes such as adhering to policies and procedures and maintaining error free deals reconciliation that helped achieve Gulf Bank maintain a good P&L growth; pivotal in streamlining the process through measures such as preparing AD-HOC reports and implementing necessary Treasury system
