I buy and sell Palm Kernel Shell, a by-product of palm oil fruit and other Biofuels like Wood Pellets, Wood Chips for Co-firing Plants, Biomass Power Plants, Residential Heating from Indonesia to every part in the world doing a quotation taking in account all the expenses of Logistics (loading fee, vessel freight, analysis, insurance, ..)
I worked as assistant in the development of the supplier base, intervening in the analysis of markets in order to seek opportunities to supply more favorable.
I monitored the movement of prices of raw materials (LME) and of components from suppliers.
I supported in the daily management of spot purchases, I managed and I took care of on-time delivery and therefore aiming at logistics optimization.
I used Ligest as MRP software.
Modelling of pieces of Gas turbines, like ring pallets, axial bearings for Ansaldo Energia using NX 6.0, a Siemens parametric modelling software
I built a tube heat exchanger with a water pump, a small boiler, necessary pipes together with an electrical framework to switch on various utilities from the beginning, calling different suppliers, designing various pieces with Autocad and in the end assemblying them in our workshop.
I designed a “Drop Keel” for an oceanographic ship. I designed different components of it, such as bolts, pistons, electrical maintenance winch, .. with Solid Works.
Drop Keel is used to measure depth of ocean basin and flow velocity.
I studied subjects focusing on Automotive and Aerospace sectors, like Aerodynamics, Combustion of Machines, .. I did an experimental thesis about "Control of wake of turbine blades through blowing and suction systems" and I demonstrated that with TEB (Trailing Edge Blowing) and BLS (Boundary Layer Suction) techniques you can reduce wake, that is a source of noise and fluidynamics losses for airplanes.
I graduated in Mechanical Engineering studying base subjects, like Fluid Dynamics, Machines, Energetics, Industrial Plants, Thesis of Bachelor Degree was about Cooling plants for steam power plants and I reported different solutions to condense steam going out of turbine from once-through condenser to air condensers.
I studied literary and scientific subjects and from this school I understood my passion for scientific subjects, like Maths, Physics.
