Mechanical Engineer- HVAC & Plumbing / MEP

Duties and Responsibilities of Mechanical Engineer (HVAC & REFRIGERATION Maintenance):
 Do repair, maintain and troubleshoots HVAC & Refrigeration machineries and equipments problem such as cooling towers, spiral freezers, fan coil units, air handling units, plate freezers, machine room industrial compressors, defrosting rooms, chiller rooms, ice machines, dehumidifiers, cold rooms, fresh air systems, exhaust fans, condensing units, chilled water systems, pumps, motorized control valves/valve stations and etc.
 Monitor and supervise the plant operations related to HVAC & Refrigeration maintenance to ensure efficient operation to the production.
 Evaluate, process and implement projects, expansion projects and upgrading works.
 Coordinate with the contractors and inspecting temporary and permanent works to ensure compliance with the Contracts Documents and approved shop drawings and submissions.
 Assisting with the inspection of completed work.
 Monitoring the start-up, testing, commissioning and handover of works and maintain files and records.
 Prepares, plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance program related to HVAC & Refrigeration.
 Supervise, repair and troubleshoots of maintenance works and activities related to HVAC & Refrigeration.
 Review the maintenance reports and improve the preventive maintenance program.
 Monitoring, request and follow-up the procurement of spare parts for all machineries.
 Control of spare parts for the machineries and equipment.
 Conduct breakdown analysis that will guarantee of non occurence and maintenance
improving proposals.
 Supervise the maintenance team during there maintenance activities.
 Coordinate with the suppliers and contractors during project installations.
 Coordinate with the production operations related to maintenance.
 Give technical advice to maintenance team during trouble shooting and
problem solving.
 Keep and maintain the maintenance files and records.
 Responsible for the compliance of health, safety and environment standards.
 Conduct regular inspection related to HVAC & Refrigeration maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities of Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
 Prepares, plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance program for all plant machineries, facility and equipment.
 Assesses, evaluate and implement programs and plans in the installation, operation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical works, equipment and machineries.
 Supervise, repair and troubleshoots breakdown maintenance works and activities on all plant machineries, facility and equipment.
 Does maintenance and repair of various equipment such as process temperature, pneumatic, hydraulic, pressure indicators/controllers, gear boxes, conveyors, motors, pumps and etc.
 Ensure continuous plant machineries operation and also facility and equipment operation with efficient delivery to the production floor of such utilities as power, water, compressed air, air conditioning systems and the like. In the process, must ensure that equipment and machine safety is fully in-place and implemented.
 Arrange and follow-up the procurement of spare parts for all machineries.
 Control of spare parts for the machineries.
 Breakdown analysis and maintenance improving proposals.
 Repair, Maintain and troubleshoots machineries and equipments problem.
 Supervises workshop activities daily operations & troubleshoot machines problems.
 Periodical reports on maintenance situation, maintain and keep updated files of all reports related to maintenance works.
 Installs, maintains, and repairs water piping system, all plumbing fixtures and appurtenances following recognized procedures and techniques of the trade of plumber.
 Coordination of inter departmental projects and initiating appropriate actions.
 Takes required safety measures and precautions.
 Performs other assorted assigned jobs.
 Supervises the maintenance foremen’s, mechanical and electrical technicians and fabricators.

Responsible for:
The principal function of the Facilities Engineer is to ensure continuous facility operation and efficient delivery to the production floor of such utilities as power, water, compressed air, air conditioning systems and the like. In the process, must ensure that equipment and machine safety is fully in-place and implemented.
Duties and Responsibilities of Facilities Engineer:
 Assesses, evaluate and implement programs and plans in the installation, operation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical works, equipment and machineries.
 Plan, supervise and coordinate the implementation of facility and equipment preventive and corrective maintenance programs and activities.
 Ensure personnel and equipment safety in the performance of facility operation and maintenance program.
 Perform difficult technical work planning and supervising the maintenance, repair, modification and installation of plumbing fixtures in the plant and facilities.
 Ensure that on time engineering support is provided to both autonomous and planned maintenance teams.
 Repair, maintain and troubleshoots machineries problem.
 Responsible for the scheduling of preventive and corrective maintenance activities, collecting and analyzing maintenance data.
 Prepare and submit reports and recommendations to the department head on all operation and maintenance activities.
 Prepare, revise and submit preventive maintenance program, its corresponding maintenance work instruction and checklists.
 Draft and document policies, procedures and specifications.
 Perform projects and tasks as maybe directed by the department head.
 Perform other duties, tasks and functions as maybe assigned by the department head from time to time.

Duties and Responsibilities of Factory Maintenance Engineer:
 Ensures the prompt and correct maintenance and trouble-shooting of emergency generation, Boilers, Elevators, Air Conditioning systems, Generator Set, Air Compressors, Evaporative cooling system, Refrigerated Air Dryer, Water pumps, Vacuum motors, Steam iron, Exhaust blowers and Pressure tanks.
 Ensure the correct installation and monitoring of all mechanical equipment.
 Responsible for the supervision of maintenance team daily operation.
 Responsible to provide technical advice to maintenance team during trouble shooting and problem solving.
 Ensure the prompt and correct maintenance of all panel boards.
 Monitor and implement safety in the workplace and factory in coordination with the safety officer.
 Regular inspection of maintenance preventive programs.
 Facility inspection to ensure safety in the workplace.
 Coordinate and oversee staff during their actual work performance.
 Review all maintenance team reports.
 Responsible for the preparation of Job Request and attend requirements prior to construction.
 Responsible for the accurate and regular monitoring of carpentry and plumbing works.
 Responsible for the correct maintenance projects and repairs for the building.
 Responsible for the implementation of new projects and upgrading works.
 Responsible for the compliance of health, safety and environment standards.
 Maintain maintenance files and records.
 Maintain and troubleshoots.
 Appointed as Safety Officer/Pollution Control Officer.
Duties and Responsibilities of Safety Officer/Pollution Control Officer:
 Responsible for preparing reasonable and correct plans for safety programs.
 Ensure the regular monitoring of all safety programs.
 Responsible for conducting Health and Safety meetings.
 Responsible for correcting promptly unsafe findings in the practice of safety rules.
 Ensure the correct and regular training for the use of personal protective equipment and tools.
 Building maintenance and do maintain and troubleshoots.
 Ensure the timely implementation of fire drills.
 Responsible for putting together a safety evacuation plan.
 Ensure the prompt and correct maintenance and trouble shooting of emergency generation, boilers, elevators, steam iron and water pumps.
 Ensure the prompt and correct maintenance and trouble shooting of emergency generation, switch boards, distribution panels and circuit breakers.
 Responsible for the accuracy and timely installation and maintenance of electrical wiring and lighting fixtures, switch board panels, generators, elevators, or any other electrical equipment and fire fighting equipment.
 Responsible for accomplishing management initiatives in work performance.
 Responsible for the correct and regular processing and evaluation of all mechanical and pollution control job orders.
 Ensure the accurate and timely submission of reports to government institutions.
 Ensure the installation of mechanical equipments.
