• A USD688 Million Commercial Complex project situated in the central Riyadh district composed of Four (4) numbers of Twenty Six Level Towers and additional Six (6) Buildings with an average of Seven Levels each.
Position: MEP, Architectural & Civil Quantity Surveyor / Procurements Engineer
Pre Contract: • Assists in the Preparation of Prequalification Documents.
• Conceptual estimation for pre contractual works based mainly on Quantity takeoff from the tender drawings and unit rate analysis.
• Coordinate and verify tender clarifications.
• Checking and understanding the Contract Specifications for materials and methods.
• Preparation and finalization of the Contractual Bill of Quantities.
Post Contract: • Preparation and submission of monthly interim payments.
• Site progress inspection and takeoff to be applied against the monthly interim payment.
• Quantity takeoff and valuation of materials delivered on site.
• Evaluation, certification and issuance of payments for Subcontractor monthly invoices.
• Identification, substantiation and submittal of variation orders.
• Valuation of contra charges amount to be charged against the Subcontractors.
Procurement: • Preparation and submission to the Consultants of Subcontractor's prequalification documents.
• Review of the proposed materials to be utilized, ensuring that it is in agreement with the standards required by the Contract Specifications.
• Preparation and submission for the Consultant's/ Client's approval the specifications and technical data of the materials required in the project.
• Comparison and selection of the Suppliers or Subcontractors while taking into consideration the Quality, Cost and Time impact on the work to be awarded.
• Quantity take off and procurement of the approved materials.
• Coordinate product presentations as per the Client's demand prior to the material approval.

➢ President's Effort Award 2008: Machine parts modification that reduced breakdown cost by Php 23 million per year.
➢ President's Silver Award 2010: Machine handling improvement that reduced parts replacement cost by Php 28 million per year.
➢ President's I.S.I.P. Silver Award 2010: Machine modification to extend parts economic life. Was able to save Php 12 million per year
• Employing AutoCAD and SKETCHUP applications in order to reduce costs on parts replacement and prevent product defect occurrences.
• Develop and apply measures that will improve machine efficiency. Machine parts improvement and re-design to increase production rate. Was able to increase machine production rating by 20% thru parts improvement.
• Costumer claim investigation on the aspects of man misses, machine failure, material defect and fault on production procedures. Formulation and implementation of countermeasures in order to prevent re-occurrence of the problem.
• Cost reduction on parts replacement through recycling and establishment of boundary samples by which replaceable parts are being judged. Was able to cut down parts cost by 30%
• Revision of machine parts drawing and system diagram utilizing AutoCAD software.
• Designing of jigs and fixtures for skill less and standardized adjustment. These reduced the maintenance time and eliminated variation of skills required during adjustments.
• Chronic and reoccurring equipment breakdown analysis. Formulation of standard procedures on maintenance of such.
• Prepare and present weekly, monthly and yearly report on machine condition, parts cost, and improvements status to be horizontally applied on all equipment.
• Schedule periodic preventive maintenance for the equipment.
Position: December 2003 to March 2007 Equipment Maintenance Engineer
• Responsible for breakdown, preventive, and corrective maintenance of equipment to ensure optimum machine utilization.
• Set-up of new machines and accomplishing required documents prior to commissioning for mass production.
• Conversion of existing equipment for processing of different types of product packages.
• Employment of Statistical Process Control in monitoring product quality and machine condition.
• Machine evaluation and simulation during costumer claim investigation procedure.
• Prepare daily reports manifesting the production status and breakdown condition during the 24 hour operation.
