Reporting directly to the Country Manager and indirectly to Group HSE Manager, primary task is to ensure that our services are provided to our clients in accordance to our IMS by giving importance to Health, Safety and the Environment.

Having the IMS Role of Local HSE Representative responsible for the administration of the Management system ensuring the implementation of HSE Policies, Procedures and Guidelines at individual office level initially for our Saudi office and eventually also of the Bahrain office with specific responsibilities as follows:

• Provide assistance to the Country Manager in the monitoring of the Company HSE performance.

• Be a member of the local SMS Review committee.

• Prepare and review of HSE Plan.

• Ensure that all personnel employed are competent to carry out their duties safely and efficiently.

• Attend all the required Client and company safety meetings and maintain an active participation in HSE matters.

• Be directly involved in accident / incident investigation.

• Act as the focal point for discussions with the Client on all matters affecting HSE within the Contract.

• Ensure that all Contract personnel are aware of the Company HSE Policies and are implementing the relevant requirements.

• Make visits to work locations on a regular basis to assist in the promotion and implementation of the Company Safety Management System.

• Encourage the active involvement of all levels of staff in HSE related activities.

• Chairing monthly or regular HSE meetings.

• Maintain statistical records of the Company’s HSE performance and update the Group CSA.

• Provide Safety Induction to all new employees.

• Organize and carry out regular and scheduled safety audits and ensure findings and corrective actions are all followed up.

• Ensure PPE and other safety monitoring equipment is in place, maintained and service as required.

• In the event of an emergency evacuation (in the case of both drills & emergencies), liaising with Fire Wardens and Evacuation Coordinator to assess effectiveness of evacuation and areas of improvement, then detailing findings in the Emergency Drill Report.

• Ensures the highest quality of service is being delivered to the client providing highly qualified Quality Assurance manpower to represent the client for their kingdom wide projects for both Onshore and Offshore locations and regularly interfacing with the client all throughout the projects life cycle.

• Primary contact point between the Project Supervisors/Inspectors and the Department Head and or the other department coordinators or department representatives within the company.

• Ensures that all administrative and/or logistical pre-requisites are arranged accordingly prior the arrival of a new inspector and that it is expedited accordingly on their joining ensuring that target mobilization date to Project/Site is being met.

• Created and Maintained Project Operational Files to easily track project related data such as Inspectors Details, Vacation Plans, Manpower, Man-hours, Safety Records, etc.

• Handled Safety Coordination duties (prior promotion to HSE Coordinator) creating Safety Action Plans, coordinating external training, development and conducting of internal training and acting as Safety Representative for the company during Safety Meetings with client.

Project Secretary (Ad-hoc: Assistant to Safety Supervisor and Assistant to QC Supervisor) at Al Osais Holding Co. (Al Osais Contracting Co.)

• Provides full secretarial and administrative support to the project team to ensure the smooth running and operation maintaining the records of the project, the employees and company assets.

• Created and Maintained FEIL file for the QC Team of the project to use in monitoring the project quality in its final phase.
