1. Carry out installation, preventive maintenance, removal, re-installation, repair and testing of telecommunication and IT equipment.
2. Conduct maintenance work which includes overhaul of complete piece of equipment involving changing of units, modules and components.
3. Install, connect, test and lineup IT equipment in predominantly land based locations.
4. Check whether test and results measurement are within specifications. Take corrective action such as re-tuning, re-wiring; repair damaged cables and replacing faulty components.
5. Remove IT equipment from one location and reinstall in other locations in accordance with users’ requirement .
6. Investigate causes of defective operation in systems and equipment, recommend modifications to equipment or operational conditions and discuss recommendations with direct supervisor.
7. Undertake other similar related duties such as preparing mission orders, work orders, maintenance reports, monthly time sheets and work permits and ensure that all work is fully documented.
8. Ensure practical implementation of HSE safety rules and ensures that work places are left clean and tidy after work completion.
9. Ensures that work is carried out at all times in accordance with technical requirements and standards.
1. Review the awarded contract in terms of scope of work, obligations to the client, schedules, and provided design and engineering solution.
2. Attend both technical and commercial meetings with clients, vendors & sub-contractors prepare the agenda in order to discuss action plans, proposals ad to negotiate viable engineering and commercial issues and solutions.
3. Prepare the list of deliverables such as detailed design drawings, computation, procedures, BOM, implementation and testing schedule, etc... according to contract, which is then submitted to the client for their review and approval.
4. Co-ordinate with the other Engineering team who will handle the assigned system and discuss with them the required action plans and committed schedules.
5. Organize weekly review meetings with the engineering and project management team to discuss progress achieved to date as well as a forecast for the following week in addition to any other issues which need to be resolved.
6. Review and approved the deliverables prepared by the engineering team and to make sure it will comply with the client's requirement, specifications and standards.
7. Conduct the System start up and initial verification
8. Pre-FAT and vendor coordination.
9. Interface with site to resolve site queries which are sent by the Field Engineers such as design and other engineering technical issues and to provide them immediate assistance and solutions.
10. Handover of all technical documents, revised drawings, software to client.
11. Design and Engineering of the following systems:
Electronics and Security Systems (Fire Alarm, Access Control System, CCTV, Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems, PAGA).
IP Network (LAN and WAN)
Telephony (VOIP and PBX)
Transmission System (SDH/PDH)
Structured Cabling System (Copper and Fiber)
VHF Radio / Tetra

1. Responsible in managing the Alcatel-Lucent’s Customer Network change process, to ensure that all changes are thoroughly assessed, in order to detect any potential impact before being introduced into an environment (Production Network).
2. Ensure that all changes are documented properly and equipment and platform documents are audited and updated regularly.
3. Managing the defects (software and hardware) discovered during the project execution such as in integration and POC Acceptance testing. To ensure that the defects are recorded in the ticketing system CARES, properly managed (troubleshooting, root cause analysis and resolution) and meeting the committed customer’s Service Level Agreement to avoid any possible delays and customer dissatisfaction.

1. Providing technical supports and assistance to Lucent’s ASEAN In-country team in resolving reported issues, through Lucent CARES (Assistance Request) tickets for the following Lucent Products:
2. Provide an ON-line technical support in resolving customer’s Urgent and top priority issues ( Outages and service failure).
3. Provide an on-site support to ASEAN in-country team during the deployment of Lucent Products such as the following:
a. Post installation.
b. System provisioning
c. Initial service provisioning.
d. Network Integration and testing
e. providing answer to all customer’s query.
4. Lab setup and verification - conducting lab bring up to reproduce customer’s issue and to provide immediate resolution or work around.
5. Pre-sales support by conducting Product trial and verification on customer’s site.
6. Providing technical assistance to sales team.
Integration and Deployment Engineer:
1. Install and configure Alcatel-Lucent solutions in larger projects within tight deadlines
2. Travel to Customer site as service contract or circumstances dictate
3. Train customers on equipment configuration and operation of delivered products
4. Support customers in the installation, modification and repair of Alcatel-Lucent products.
5. Identify and report failure modes encountered when in the field and determine the cause of these failures
6. Isolate and rectify equipment installation problems and provide reports on these issues
7. Solve communication and networking problems at customer site
8. Interact with customers by phone/ face to face depending on the level and type of support required
9. Collate field failure results and symptoms for analysis and provide to Service Manager
10. Interact with the end-user to explain the failure mode in detail
11. Compliance with all safety policies, practices and procedures at all times
1. Provide technical assistance to Pre-sales team in determining customer's requirements and providing effective and cost wise technical solution.

1. Responsible in interpreting of customer’s need into system specification at the outset of the project. Document technical requirements and obtain customer written approval.
2. Attend customer’s meeting and provide technical assistance to customer’s query.
3. Conduct a site survey, collect information on site.
4. Prepare the bill of materials, baseline drawings and scope of work.
5. Project inspection and prepare the project progress report.
6. System commissioning and provisioning.
7. Design and Engineering of the following system:
Electronic security and fire alarm system.
Building Automation Systems
Paging and CATV system.

1. Responsible in day to day team activities, such as maintaining the following facilities inside the ARAMCO community in Dhahran Saudi Arabia;
Fire and Gas Alarm system
Building security systems.
Uninterrupted Power Supply Unit, Commercial Power
Electrical and Instrumentation.
2. Response immediately to work orders requested by ARAMCO Community Departments.
3. Engineering review and preparation
4. Preparing the BILL of Materials and requisition.
5. Project supervision, Project coordination and reporting.
