Routing Engineer:
1-Change routing based on rates, quality and available capacity
2-Follow up trouble tickets with INMC and check OTRS
3-Test destinations when needed
4-Control Quality of Service / vendor performance
5-Maintain white/black list routing
6Report daily for the quality of service of accounts assigned and action taken when problems occur
7Log the routing changes continuously ie make sure the routing form is filled with every routing change by the team
8Perform routing builder and synchronizer and make sure SMC-NMC and CRD are informed of the process
9Report daily to the team leader on the quality of service of the accounts assigned to him/her
10Enhance routing methods/tools; develop and update any routing documentation

NOC controller:
1.Act as first point of escalation for IP, switching and transmission related problems
3.Request new technology from VAS department after discussing the department’s needs with NMC team leader
3.Handle the configuration of any project related to new monitoring tools
4.Maintain the development of all coming/existing Network Management Systems and contact suppliers whenever a problem is faced
5.Advise Network monitoring and customer service team on the actions to be taken on any critical trap sent by TABs
6.Prepare periodical presentations and training for NMC members, training program will be prepared monthly by NMC team leader
7.Check periodically the unstable sites, point out the reason(s) behind instability and advise other department accordingly
8.Maintain software upgrade for all network elements outside working hours
9.Analyze SNMPc’s critical and repetitive traps
10.Handle trouble ticket system’s configuration, enhancement and backup, contact support whenever needed
11.Handle the configuration and enhancement of a web based database used for sharing NMC’s information
12.Coordinate with vendor, service provider on rescheduling of network activities in case not suiting our operational network

Meet with routing team leader and the department manager every week and make sure minutes of meetings are prepared and sent
Enhance routing methods/tools; develop and update any routing documentation

Establish/manage conference calls (with customers, vendors and/or suppliers) required to identify Root Cause Analysis
Maintain the development of all coming/existing Network Management Systems and contact suppliers whenever a problem is faced
Advise Network monitoring and customer service team on the actions to be taken on any critical trap sent by TABs
Prepare periodical presentations and trainings for NMC members (training program will be prepared monthly by NMC team leader)
