Solid and Rare Tumors Franchise (Jordan and Palestine)
Responsibilities:
• Developing strategic marketing plans of existing brands and prepare launches of new brands in line with corporate strategy.
• Monitoring market trends, sales, product performance, expenses and structure of business franchise.
• Conducting regular critical reviews against plans and take corrective action as required.
• Identifying and exploiting new business development opportunities.
• In depth medical knowledge of the products, providing medical inputs to marketing strategy and promotional and advertising tools
• Supporting global marketing long and short-term product strategy in terms of allocating resources, portfolio priorities and brand materials
• In depth knowledge of the customer/marketplace, key dynamics and company policies as well as up to date knowledge of key competitors and their likely strategies - translate into effective customer segmentation and customer specific tactics.
• Proposing accurate Market Share/Market Share Growth grids to sales force management for individual products.
• Developing, implementing and adapting operational plans in line with corporate strategic product objectives.
• Developing and producing promotional and advertising tools in order to maximize the support for FF.
• Communicating effectively within the organization to ensure the motivation and alignment of sales force and other key departments (Medical, Market Access and others) and ensuring the achievement of product objectives.
• Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key customers to support current and future product objectives.
• Developing and continuously updating own, FF and SM’s knowledge regarding therapies, allocated products and markets.
• Monitoring and controling product performance and adjust plans accordingly.
• Anticipating future trends in disease management and market environment which are likely to affect the performance and potential of the product.
• Feedback to logistics department and assurance of forecast of inventory levels of allocated products ensuring continuous supply at minimum necessary inventory levels.

• Leading an EGM project for the Breast Cancer Franchise; “Novartis EGM Breast Cancer Portfolio Messaging and Quiz Tool in a Box” To enhance commercial and Field Force capabilities & competitive mindset to drive Brand excellence in execution
Managing and coordinating work in general
* Devising and planning of the company's policies
* Developing guidelines of operation for different projects
* Developing and setting up an annual budget and a financial plan
* Recruiting and training of senior managers
* Imparting training to new practice employees regarding how to increase employee performance
* Discussing plans and marketing strategies with sales team to increase company profits
* Developing targeting and segmentation plans with sales team
* Making sure that all departments are working as anticipated by the company's annual plan
* Meeting with key clients to discuss future contracts and agreements
* Creating creative concepts for different brands with the creative team
* Preparing the medical content for different awareness campaigns
* Preparing and implementing media plans for launch products
* Supervising the production process of communication and advertising tools
* Planning and implementing launch events
Develop and implement marketing strategies consistent with general corporate strategy to
achieve expansion and growth, including promotional materials and programs
* Support all aspects of business communication including brand-management.
* Implement professional/consumer campaigns, BTL and ATL
* Develop forecasting marketing strategies
* Elaborate sales reports in order to follow the implementation of the actions and their impact
into sales
Face to face visits with doctors, pharmacists and hospital medical teams, which may include pre-arranged appointments or regular 'cold' calling;
Presenting promotional lectures to doctors, practice staff and nurses in GP surgeries, hospital doctors, and pharmacists in the retail sector
Building and maintaining positive working relationships with medical staff and supporting administration staff
Planning work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables
Monitoring competitors' activities and competitors' products
Developing strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to contacts in the medical and healthcare sectors
Staying informed about the activities of health services in specific areas
Working with team managers to plan how to approach contacts and creating effective business plans for making sales
