I work as an independent entrepreneur in the position of program manager Urban Renaissance, a foundation consisting of 11 international partners across Europe. I helped building up the entity, organizing international events, support partners with tools etc. (www.urbanrenaissance.nl). The core is the systemic holistic approach to solve the challenges presented. Being the single point of contact for the partners and the projects, I constantly foster alliances and build an integrated and holistic city-wide approach to resilience solutions. Skills like relationship management, tender and grants management and diplomacy is essential to keep all the different partners on board.
Supervising several teams of people working on urban transformation trajectories. Lecturing and giving workshops to international students, universities and corporations.
Currently I work as:
- Task Leader Work Package 5, member Steering Group Meethink_Energy, Call Horizon 2020 EE 2015;
- Project Leader - Implementing Program Sustainable Rotterdam 2015 - 2018 (6-2015 / present);
- Projectleader Zevenkamp (Rotterdam), sustainable urban transformation trajectory for about 7.000 houses.
Process - and Project Manager in Sustainable Urban Transformation Trajectories in Europe. Supervised a variety of different teams, working on urban planning throughout minor and major projects.
Currently I also work as Member of a Think Tank - Midden Delfland, The Netherlands (5-2015 / present). I'm responsible for the systemic approach of the challenge, and for bringing in the execution power if needed.

Hoorn: Project Manager, Bangert en Oosterpolder phase 4, developing of 900 houses and phase 5 1.200 houses), budget € 162 m and € 216 m
Hoorn: Project Manager ‘t Zevenhuis, sustainable development of 100 ha business park, policy making, CO2 neutral 2040, marketing, budget ca. € 158 m
Acquistion of new projects, starting new projects in the field of urban (re)development. I was responsible for greenhouse cultivation areas, urban areas (new and existing), and more. I was also responsible for managing several projects, like the fysical preparation of building sites, the development of a combined project leisure and luxury houses and more.
Negotioating about land, buying and selling to private and corporations. In charge of all the legal affairs and strategies concerning the buying and selling of properties.
Checking applications of building buildings and or areas. Make it happen.
Connecting content, process and people to urban (transformation) planning trajectories. Graduates are senior level management persons. Master thesis: “The 3rd generation of restructurering businessparks, the role of networks for obtaining public support.”
