My Duties were as follows:
• Handling Import & Export of all classes of Cargo (ex: Perishable, radioactive, Flammable Liquid, AOG, Corrosives, Diplomatic Mails and much more).
• Updating systems using Hand Held terminals for both Import & Export of Cargo.
• Storage of all types of Cargo as per their Classes, weight & sizes.
• Familiar with Emirates Sky Chain logistics Software.
• Familiar ASRS (Automated Storage & retrieval System).
• Familiar with ETV & ALS
• Familiar with the Import & Export procedures of various Airlines (ex: Emirates, Etihad, British Airways, China Airlines, Thai air, DHL, FedEx etc).
After a brief moment with Sabre Holdings as an product Analyst, I took up a freelanced feasibility study of a Business Setup that comes under the production sector in the industrial market in India. Being form Mangalore the study was to set up a business which would cater to the needs of people in various fields, Interior Decoration was one of it. The idea was to set up a Laser Engraving Machine with Water jet and a CNC machine. These machines would be used to cut various metals, stones, Wood and other raw materials to create designs and shapes used for all types of Interior furnishing projects. Part of the study was to find out other competitors and the chances of such business thriving in a Tier 3 city like Mangalore. Simultaneously the cost of the setup, running and probable returns in such a business was considered. This study was done with the help of a long time friend and Entrepreneur having little more than a decade of experience in a similar industry that is successfully thriving. The next step was to find out if the Government would fund such projects as they have a lot of schemes supporting young entrepreneurs into investing in various businesses, mainly small scale industries. After a thorough study of the market, business plan and the various funding schemes provided by the government we concluded that the capital for the setup was not feasible.
• Handling customer queries related to Sabre Applications via email and phone
• Managing user accounts and application access in Sabre community portal.
• Handle critical/high severity incidents by setting up technical bridges, assembling support personnel and dispatching timely internal and external notifications.
• Work and follow-up with application specialists to resolve issues.
• Act as the first point of contact at Sabre for Air Center customers.
• Track and log all Air Center (Movement Manager, FliteTrac, AirCrews, FLICA, Dispatch Manager and ACARS Manager etc) and Community Portal service requests.
• Coordinate with the HP mid-range operations team to monitor and direct server/ messaging queue alerts to the concerned teams within Sabre.
• Escalating issues in timely manner wherever necessary.
• Handling multiple customer outages. Initiating conference calls to resolve issues on priority basis.
• Documenting and managing records related to customer reported issues using Siebel ICRM tool.
• Providing timely updates to the customer regarding any in-progress issues, maintain good customer experience by resolving customer queries in within the giving SLA (service level agreement).
• Tabulating & Analyzing Fillings, address & Calculating of Insurance Premiums to be paid by Insurance holders of People of North America in MS excel.
• Analyzed Fillings needed to be uploaded in the Abby fine reader software through MS excel. Thus transferring the data through Excel Sheet without Any Errors or Space, so that Data flows through product in an Elegant Way. Thus Providing the Client First hand information of their Insurance Dues & Premium to be paid.
• Providing Clients with Reliable data with 100% Quality & Timeliness (Within the Deadline) to Avoid Client Query.
• Logging of user incidents in Maximo (Call logging software).
• Escalating tickets.
• Helping clients on placing Software, Hardware requests through client application.
• Installing, troubleshooting various Software, Hardware and client owned applications.
• Provide assistance through Remote Desktop Sharing.
Using Active Directory to grant access for Remote access, Support soft, SMTools for software distribution and other relevant tools while providing support
