• Work within the Health, Safety, and Environment and Quality policies of the Group.
• Supervise and Implement Supply, Purchasing, and tendering processes locally and internationally.
• Attracts offers, evaluate, and recommend the best to superiors.
• Participate in the negotiation process to the extent possible.
• Receive invoices, review, and verify it .
• Follow-up on suppliers accounts and schedule their payments in coordination with the finance.
• Coordinate with departments to receive their technical specifications for equipment and material to be bought.
• Always inform departments on the progress of their orders.
• Maintain data base for vendors / contractors / Contracts and update it regularly.
• Participate in monthly reporting for stock levels & control.

Responsible for all purchasing process of the entire group; Petra food industries (HALA chips) and Petra trading.

A) Petra Food Industries:
• Handling all the purchases needed for Chips production; starting from raw materials, such as corn starch, potato starch, granules, oils, packaging materials and outer cases.
• Studying the production plans to secure raw & packaging material.
• Determine the reorder quantity every week then transfer it to the pipeline to determine the order quantity based on sales forecast.
• Update the suppliers list and search for new suppliers.
• Arrange with suppliers for payments terms.
• Follow up with suppliers and track the shipment from the day the shipment is shipped till it arrives to Aqaba then up to our warehouses.
• Monitoring the stock level.
• Handling the spare parts purchases needed for all production lines machines.
• Performing detailed comparison studies on the commercial and technical aspects of every purchased item.
• Being up to date to the latest news of raw material availability all around the world and prices status going up or down.

B) Petra Trading and investment co.( agent of Procter & Gamble, Al-Ghorier, Ultra water) :
• Controlling all consumables Such as Stationary, Hosting, household products. Etc.
• Handling all manipulation center purchases such as Bar codes, Stickers, stretch wrap, Etc.
