Handling Servers: Linux RHEL, Linux RHEL 7, Solaris 10, Solaris11, Windows2008, Windows 2010.
Monitor the OSS server software and hardware health on a daily basis and carry out all tasks listed in OSS system
admin guide.
Log Analysis to find root cause of a problem.
Served Server Admin activities : server security policy, files system backups, security hardening.
Monitor NMS and EMS server reachability and resolve connectivity issues reported by customer.
Identify root cause for failure or hits for the services/links during testing and rectify the issue.
System efficiency and Performance monitoring, Disk and Network usage.
Ensure OSS complex backups are done and are successful.
Troubleshoot issues seen on OSS that are reported by Customer.
Provide support for - New patch installation, Server upgrade activities, End to end testing for delivery of the services.
Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
Perform daily backup operations and all necessary related actions. Automation of activities wherever possible.
Provide support during hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies.
Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure/add new
services as necessary.
Leading a team for a project of integration of all Transmission servers with SRAS server (Security purpose) and delivered
on time.
Server level Troubleshooting and co-ordinate with TAC team to provide solution for major problems.
Networking -Telnet, FTP, SFTP, ifconfig, vi commands, systemD.
Responsible for server security management such as application user creation, deletion, user rights and password
Policy management.
Creating and developing reports with excel as well command line interface to monitor health statistics of servermachines.
