• Performing oral and written translation from English to Arabic or vice versa to ensure accurate, friendly, respectful,
objective, and fluent communication between MSF staff, beneficiaries, and other actors in the field. Mainly in the Mental Health Clinic of MSF-France without any prejudice or hindrance.
• Provide consecutive interpreting between the therapist and the beneficiary during the individual sessions and group therapy.
• Provide simultaneous interpreting or whisper interpreting for the therapist during evaluation sessions.
• Provide sight translation for the therapist and the beneficiary.
• Ensure that all information is following the confidentiality policies.
• Maintain neutrality, respect, and accuracy when translating in all moments.
• Advice the therapist on any relevant information that can contribute to the therapeutic objectives
throughout a better understanding of the culture and context of the beneficiaries.
• Calling the beneficiaries to book and manage their appointments according to the psychologist's schedule and ensure that the communication was clear and understood.
• Translating documents from English to Arabic and vice versa.
• Participating in weekly clinical meetings and other team meetings/activities/training.
• Simultaneous and consecutive interpreting during meetings/discussions.
• Participating actively in meetings and training.
• Defend individuals' and journalists' rights to speak their minds and maintain their human rights.
• Develop events around Jordan under the name of " Messengers of Freedom, " where we performed several entertaining sketches of short films and an art exhibition that included paintings and a mirror sculpture to pour our ideas into the community.
In collaboration with language schools or municipality, centers aim to raise multicultural awareness of Turkish Youth, improve their English skills, educate them about different aspects of sustainable development and empower them to act upon it, contributing to SDG 4.7.
• Providing bilateral Interpreting from English to Arabic or vice versa between the EU election observers staff, people from the community, and other actors in the field. Mainly in the political field.
• Ensure effective communication between the team of international election observers and whomever they need to communicate with. In most cases, these would include election officials, voters, political party representatives, local residents at the polling station.
• Assist the international election observers in visiting polling stations.
• Provide sight translation for documents.
• Provide simultaneous interpreting or whisper interpreting for the international election observers during vote counting stations.
