DOHA METRO PHASE-1 SYSTEM ROLLING STOCK AND TRACK WORK (DEPOT & STABLING YARD):
My current responsibilities include but not limited to
- Review design drawings, design reports & project specifications, identify conflicts & resolve them in consultation with customer, consultant or DVE.
- Attend technical meetings & get approval for supplier, material & construction.
- Coordinate MEP layouts & issue good for construction / as built drawings.
- Provide support for timely completion.
- Obtain missing information by raising TQ, RFI, technical notes.
Worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer in Rail Solutions business.
Worked on Doha Metro Red Line South project in Doha, Qatar.
Also Worked on RIYADH METRO Package-3 (Line 4, 5 & 6) Cut & Cover Tunnel. Designed HVAC system for intermediate shafts of Cut & Cover Tunnel.
Role includes design (concept / detail) of HVAC system for Metro station, auxiliary buildings, switch boxes, launch boxes & intermediate shafts.
Use of internationally accepted standards for building design / ventilation / pressurization, smoke control like ASHRAE 62.1, 91.1, CIBSE Guides, NFPA 90, 92, 130, 12101 (Part-6) etc.

Also took additional responsibility of material head & coordinator in Voltas Lucknow office for 2.5 years. Role includes commercial comparison & negotiation of vendor proposals & finalize the purchase orders.
