>Disease surveillance officer, conduct/assist in disease surveillance in our community
>Event-based surveillance and response officer.
>Measures vital signs and anthropometric data properly
> Interprets vital signs and anthropometric data accurately
> Performs systematic physical examination using cephalo-caudal approach
>Formulates correct initial nursing diagnosis of patient condition >Explains to patient diagnostic procedures to be performed and the necessary preparations
>Performs Leopold’s maneuver
>Measures fundic height against the age of gestation, fetal heart beat and fetal movement count accurately
>Administers micronutrient supplementation (iron, folate and Vitamin A supplementation)
>Provision of appropriate thermal care through mother and newborn skin-to skin contact, maintaining a delivery room temperature of 25-28 degrees centigrade and wrapping the newborn with clean, dry cloth
>Performs immediate rooming in procedures whenever possible >Performs immediate latching on and initiation of breastfeeding within first hour after birth
> Informs parents or legal guardians of the newborns the availability, nature and benefits of NBS
>Identifies and administer Expanded Program for Immunization
