Tool and Die Maker/Machinist
• Supervising all incoming and outgoing job.
• Fabricate steel, machine tools and parts using conventional lathe machine, milling machine and surface grinding machine.
• Fabricate punching tools, bending dies, forming dies, jigs.
• Measure dimensions of tools using measuring instrument like vernier caliper and micrometer, screw gauge.
• Align cutting tools and accessories onto machine.
• Coordinate with General Manager and production manager in new tooling design and modify existing tool and die if necessary to maximize productivity and quality.
• Analyzing blueprints, written specification, drawing, rough sketches, verbal instruction and tolerance of finished work piece with minimal supervisions.
• Able to plan and layout setup operations and determine sequence of operations.
• Coordinate with General Manager and Production manager regarding production design, equipments capabilities, capacity and purpose, types of material to be used in fabrication as well as required tooling.
• Practicing safety guidelines and measures.
• Make monthly reports and monitor daily consumable items.
• Daily facility cleanliness and maintenance of the machines.
• Fabricate steel, machine tools and parts using conventional lathe machine, milling machine surface grinding machine, EDM Wire Cutting machine, EDM Drilling Machine and CNC Milling Machine.
• Fabricate punching tools, jigs, formers.
• Measure dimensions of tools using measuring instrument like vernier caliper and micrometer, screw gauge.
• Align cutting tools and accessories onto machine.
• Coordinate with Technical manager and technical designer new tooling design and modify existing tool and die if necessary to maximize productivity and quality.
