Designing programs that tackle key issues related to oil and gas policy and industry economics, and water-energy-food nexus. Designing and implementing an M&E system that adheres to organization guidance and meeting the needs of program learning, analysis, and reporting. My responsibilities include the development of workplan and design instructional content consistent with established best practices in instructional design and active learning, and with the Quality Matters rubric.
• Work with professionals to design and create engaging, interactive, and sound learning programs under the topic: energy and natural resources security
• Collaborate with technologists, Quality Matters certification specialists, subject matter experts, and instructors to select tools and strategies that encourage, promote, assist and develop active learning and critical thinking to support both teaching and research in different environments
• Lead Science Inquiry committee that aims to create innovative solutions in security study environments through critical inquiry and analytical thinking
• Undertake research-led teaching at undergraduate taught courses, regularly collecting, and responding to student feedback
• Facilitate teams and supporting workshops/meetings across multiple phases of the project delivery lifecycle
Developed water testing methodologies in and around oil fields throughout the country. Developed ”PATENTED” models and software that help to determine recommended baseline water testing perimeters, based on a number of geologic variables, around each oil and gas well.
Managed various water quantity and quality projects that include the design, construction, and evaluation of the performance of green infrastructure and low impact development practices. Oversaw the monitoring and evaluation component, ensured reliable data collection and timely and quality reporting products, ensured high quality of monitoring and data tracking system and identified and addressed issues related to the activity performance monitoring, and trained and advised local entities on options to reduce the negative impact of urban runoff on surrounding ecosystem.
Developed sub-daily SWAT models for Austin watersheds as required in the division modeling plan. Assisted with Section Data Collection Management & Processing. Participated in stormwater BMP Evaluation Team. Assisted with monitoring field operations
Designed and implemented experiments that aim to provide solutions for homeowners to maintain a constant soil moisture perimeter and pest barrier around their home foundations. Participated in documenting and filing patents about foundation irrigation systems that work without pumps excessive water pressure, electronic components or electrical power
Contributed in designing and installing stormwater control measures. Developed monitoring and evaluation system to collect and assess data. Documented research activities and results and met regularly with project sponsors to present progress
Designated responsibilities in development and humanitarian assistance programs including facilitating project startup logistics, procurement and administrative, and serving as a liaison with government ministries. Contributed to project designs to ensure adherence to internal and donor standards, including the design and analysis of a monitoring and evaluation system tied to indicators related to project activities. Ensured adherence to robust monitoring, evaluation and reporting systems for all project interventions.
Conducted chemical and physical assessments in research that studied the effect of treated water and water quality in general on the sensory, chemical and physical criteria of foods
