- Monitor the status of pending critical payments and carries outs the required action to reduce delays affecting operations.
- Facilitate the quarter/annual audit activities with internal and external auditors by coordinating provision of information required, clarifications needed, etc. to ensure that year-end audit package is accurate and complete.
- Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met, and ensure accurate and timely (monthly, quartarly and year end) close.
- Generate and provide accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.
- Ensure the adherence of the accounting function's team to Almutlaq's policies and processes.
Provide guidance to the accounting function's team to ensure effective and efficient flow of work.
- Review LCs' transactions (POs, shipments tracking, costing, supplier payments, LSPs payments, cost variances closing).
- Manage VAT return report monthly, and prepare all related reports in details.
- Coordinate with operational Excellence management in developing policies and procedures of Finance management.
- Participate in ERP system's (Oracle Financials) implementation process.
- Participate in budgeting processes and preparation of periodic financial reports and analysis.
- Review Almutlaq's compliance with SOCPA and IFRS.
