Advise and assist management on HSE matters to ensure implementation
Of HSE management system and all client requirements within the area of
jurisdiction.
Ensure proper training is given to employees to continually maintain an
appropriate level of awareness, knowledge and preparedness across the
organisation towards safety standards.
Evaluate the hospital’s environment and develop safety-management
policies that identify and define the safety responsibilities of all
employees with assessing the existing policies in accordance to the legal
guidelines.
Coordinate inspections with assistant safety coordinator of projects and
facility operations and provide reports to the management.
Coordinate accident / injury investigations within area of responsibility as
per requirement, lead investigations and ensure closing out of reports.
Ensure periodical inspections of various safety and lifesaving equipment’s
like fire fighting equipment’s, gas monitors etc.
Provides appropriate safety and health, accident prevention, and
investigation training for Safety subordinates.
Recommend and implement solutions to issues, improvement
opportunities or new prevention measures.
Perform risk assessment to prevent any incidents in the hospital.
Ensures the hospital’s tools and equipment meet the industry standards
and are installed properly to prevent any incidents as defined by OSHA
(Occupational Safety and Health Administration)
Conducting Orientation program for new staff of Hospital.
Lead and monitor the HSE inspectors around the regions.
Testing and inspection of Detectors, Fire warning System & Fire Fighting Equipment’s
Maintain the record for monthly inspection of Detectors, Fire warning System & Fire Fighting Equipment’s
Develop weekly, monthly and yearly task plan for HSE inspectors.
Assist HSE team in developing, maintaining, updating, circulating and educating Employees on HSE Policies, Manuals, Guidelines, Specifications, Standards, Procedures and checklists.
Coordinate development and application of inspections and HSE plans as required.
Impart training to regional employees on HSE related topics. Train team in implementation of HSE Management System and associated procedures addressing roles and responsibilities of team members as advised by HSE Manager.
Actively participate in emergency response drills as HSE supervisor and participate in incident/accident investigations and ensure all the HSE inspectors to do the same.
Conduct HSE Audits and Inspection as requested from the HSE section.
Abide all statutory requirements pertaining to HSE.
Adhere to all HSE standards and specification.
Implement all HSE requirements coming under your area of jurisdiction.
Coordinate with HSE department in HO functionally in completing daily HSE Task and duties.
Assist HSE department in HO on closing management site visit findings on all the regional operations under the HSE inspectors.
Monitor staff in the region complaints related to HSE and suggest methods for improving HSE management system in consultation with HSE section.
Perform site visits and conduct HSE Inspection and follow up on non-conformance and corrective action.
Assist HSE department in Conducting HSE Audits and Inspections of contractor’s activities.
Conduct Monthly HSE meeting for his responsible region and ensure all the HSE inspectors in Regions do the same.
Response to any incident/accident, assess its magnitude raise the report notification and follow up the action items.
Responsible of assisting HSE Department in monitoring any projects in the region from HSE side and report it to HSE Department.
All the completed tasks have to be reported to HSE Manager weekly and monthly.
Travel frequently to all regions to support and guide the HSE inspectors and ensure all their tasks is completed.
Ensure to fulfil all the mandatory HSE training for the entire employee in the regions.
Conduct HSE awareness and campaigns as per the HSE plan for all the regions.
Investigation of accidents and its root cause, providing remedial action to
stop the reoccurrence.
Prepare JSA and HIRA for all hazardous operations with the help of site
Engineers. And also DSR & MSPR for a daily and monthly basis.
Organize various safety activities and training at site viz. Safety
Committee, Tower committee, Toolbox meeting, Induction and weekly
safety meetings for staff and workmen.
Prepare and maintain safety records according to the company rules and
I.S.O.
Make recommendations for correcting unsafe conditions and actions with
profound ability to communicate technical information to non-technical
personnel.
Excellent skill in performing safety inspections, ensuring compliance with
safety standards along with a strong ability to gather data, compile
information and prepare reports.
Conduct Internal Audit at site and safety performance review meeting.
Coordinate with site engineers to carry out all site operations safely,
maintaining safety at the construction sites.
Prepare reports of findings and submit recommendations to H.O
Coordinate with hygiene issues for assets in the Construction industry and
support other departments in safety issues.
Act as the internal safety resource in connection with safety issues.
Solid understanding of safety permitting processes.
