HSE Manager Middle East & Africa at National Oilwell Varco

 Provides HSE leadership, training and operational support to all levels of the organization and across all functional groups for Africa & Middle East.
 Management representative for certification of ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001 & OSHAD.
 Develop and implement HSE programs, policies and procedures for continual improvement of company’s health, safety and environmental management system.
 Preparation of Health and Safety documentation for new tenders.
 Develop HSE leadership programs for Senior Managers, Supervisor, lead person for effective implementation of HSE Management System.
 Conduct Management review meeting with Top management to review the company’s HSEMS.
 Create HSE annual budgets, Prepare HSE training matrix and monitor HSE training requirements - internal and external training.
 Prepare the emergency drill plan and ensure the implementation to ensure that each facility has adequate arrangement for emergency management.
 Provides Safety support and advice, including supervision on preparation of plans and procedures for initial contract start up activities.
 To ensure all incident are investigated as per Corporate timeline and prepare the lesson learnt.
 Coordinate and ensure the implementation of proposed corrective actions from incidents and emergency exercises.
