Leading a diverse BI team virtually and physically to design and build a highly available, enterprise-scale BI platform. Interface with cross-functional teams to deliver complete business intelligence solutions. Manage IT budget to efficiently operate resources to deliver business needs, Accountable to operate within annual budget. Architect complex, complete BI platform under global governance and standards set by IT.
Direct 10+ year experience using Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools, preferably MicroStrategy (Dossiers, Documents, Dashboards, Developer), or similar technology (Power BI, OLAP Cubes) and Database Technologies Exasol in Memory, SQL Server.
Established long-term and value-added relationships with assigned business functions to educate and develop the analytic capability of business users across the organization.
Proliferate best practices in reporting and analysis, including data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation Provide risk assessment for new functionality and enhancements, and identify process improvement opportunities to drive innovation.
Participate in regular management review of projects to communicate project status, present business achievements, key risks and mitigation and ensure stakeholder needs are being met
Ability to perform in a team environment as a leader and member of the team, Able to work on multiple projects or multiple complex tasks with competing priorities and to work closely with Senior Management and project teams to understand business requirements, develop solutions, and deliver multiple complex projects on time
Counsel, consult, mentor, and transfer knowledge of key functionalities across the team and organization. Deliver effective verbal and written communications to technical and business stakeholders regarding the BI solution design.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
Discuss technical concepts, issues and ideas with technology and business stakeholders by initiating collaborative discussions, public speaking forums, and presentations
