GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - - - - - - - - - - -
Customs clearance coordination. Coordination on clearance of incoming project materials for General Electric at
above mentioned projects.
Manage, plan, organize, direct, and control the activities and resources for material management in capacity of EPC
or supplier of the project materials at client’s project sites.
Management of the Stores, Materials Control and Logistics teams and responsibility for all associated administrative,
scheduling and expediting tasks.
Plan, manage and execute logistic operations, loading, transport, delivery and offloading of project materials.
Preparing Purchase order (Local Purchase Order (LPO), Purchase Memorandum (PM), Service Memorandum (SM).
Preparing of Comparative Statement of Quotation
Negotiating with the vendors for Rate, Delivery & Payment Terms.
Maintaining records/Database of various categories of approved Supplier.
Leading and managing all planning for flow of project materials, equipment, supplies, tools & parts logistics
coordination, receiving, storage, issuance, preservation, calibration and spare parts handover.
Supervising the activities of employees relating to the ordering, receiving, storing, inventory, issuing, and shipping of
materials, supplies, tools, and parts
Responsible to organize site discipline Engineer and contractor to open material/equipment box for inspection,
accounting, record the MRR report, issue OSD Report if found any overage, shortage, damage, substandard. Issue NCR
if any material deviation, a miss, missing QA documents etc.
Execution of project logistics phase such as planning, shipping, port operations, customs clearance, inland movement
(local logistic management) and deliveries at the customer sites per contracts requirements. - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Manage a material/warehouse team. Make sure this team fulfill their responsibility and complete the task assigned
to them in a safe manner in compliance of safety procedures and specifications.
Planning of storage yards, warehouses, materials controls, inventory management, preservation/maintenance,
warranty claims, procurement to support the construction schedule.
Responsible for safety of site warehouse facility and laydown area. Including but not limited to security, environment,
hazard material/waste etc.
EPC/Client coordination, material controls team training and management.
Extensive knowledge of GE Parts system, BOM, MLIs, Parts, Vender BOMs, Packing lists & online workflows for
all disciplines.
Update GE online tools for materials management, procurement/settlement of warranty claims, project coordination,
reporting, support to project management team etc.
Liaise with LPM team in USA on project material delivery plans; track High Level Plan, follow/track the inbound
vessels, air & road shipments to meet the contract dates.
Establish plan for storage facilities, preservation, open case inspections (OCI), survey for damages, identification
of shortages/overage via OS&D reports and recovery/recovery of shortage material.
Manage client’s RFIs, handover of all Operation spares, Project special tools, start-up & commissioning spares, and
complete cataloguing of the same to fulfill client’s protocol of SAP bases materials management system.
Maintain all procurement documents.
Ensure the quality and quantity of Material Purchase at site.
Create different reports as required by Management.
Core expertise in budgeting/forecasting, shipping/logistics/expediting, warehousing, policies/processes/procedures
and people management.
Manage operations to supply the project with the necessary material & services for an un-interrupted O&M operation while
making sure that all material, equipment, services and devices meet project requirements. - - - - - - - -
Plan and execute the material control, procurement, expediting, and warehousing activities associated with
commodities and engineering equipment, systems, or materials in support of KAPCO project operation.
Perform all warehouse activities including shipping and receiving of materials and processing SAP transactions,
performing goods issue and staging of materials for work orders and projects managing physical inventories and
conducting cycle counts.
Communicating the inventory status timely with related departments.
Responsible for planning, designing and managing in scope warehouse/stores.
Responsible for establishing and implementing of warehouse relates policies and procedures.
Looked after the operations of the leasing company for Multan region which included loans, leasing of assets and
recovery of loans. Supervised day to day operations of the region.
