Management Related Tasks
Set goals, plan and/or control the organizing and lead the execution of any type of activity
Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards
Ensure maximum performance of contracting companies and/or skilled manpower to control efficiency and productivity
Direct engineering activities ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, or other governmental regulations
Manage and direct the construction, operations, or maintenance activities at project site
Monitor budget to assure the accuracy of financial forecasts
Prepare daily, weekly, monthly action plans, proactive reports and snag reports to project manager
Controlling material wastage and time delay throughout every activity on site
Follow up material approvals, inspection approvals and NCRs
Technical Related Tasks
Daily Technical inspections for on-going site activities
Provide technical supervision and advice to industrial or managerial personnel
Supervise technical tests on soils or materials to determine the adequacy and strength of foundations, concrete, asphalt, or steel (compacting tests, welding tests, tensile and compressive strength tests, sieve analysis for filling materials, soil parameters tests and other related tests asked by technical control office )
Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine project feasibility.
Bill of materials creation and maintenance
Report to project manager, daily and monthly progress reports
Coordinate with consultant during inspection time
Follow up the construction procedure as approved drawings
Oversee the incoming materials onsite
Make presentations, reports, articles for main project manager
Civil Divisional Manager in Medical Research Center zone at KSUHS project
Managing meetings between subcontracting engineers, and contributing in effective decision-making
Monitoring Leed (Gold Standards ) in construction process
Logistic liaison between engineers of subcontracting companies and consultants
Reporting to senior managers
Performing documentation work (progress reports, snag lists ) and maintaining filling systems
Setting up and maintenance of control logs (ie. RFIs, shop drawings, as-built drawings, etc.)
Supervision of day to day operations of the site work
Following up updates in design drawings, specifications ID drawings
Following up all NCRs issued by consultant till officially closed as per rules and regulations.
Conducting regular job site inspections
Daily progress reporting
