Departmental & Process Leadership
• Capitalising on the skills in controlling and managing departmental activities viz. planning, auditing, improvement, team hiring & training, inspection, testing, etc.
• Exercising full authority of managing and controlling product development process right from requirement gathering to the final product development and delivery
• Identifying scope for:
Planning, implementing & monitoring of technological changes to enhance operational efficiency
Modifications in equipment, process flow, working practices, consumables, power, etc. for controlling & reducing conversion cost.
• Executing cost saving techniques/ measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in expenditures and work within the budget
Quality / Inspection Operations
• Quality Management Systems
Appraising the status of various system implementations in the organisation
Inspecting non-conforming products and initiating requests for corrective and preventive action
Taking stringent quality measures including preparation of necessary documents to ensure compliance with above standards & customer requirements
• Inspection:
Maintaining all high precision grade equipment/tools in safe custody & ensure all equipment are operated as per the instructions and user manual
Conducting internal audits periodically to assess the status of deployment of systems and take corrective measures for achieving organisational objectives
Preparing & maintaining all the records of all the standards, audits, uncertainty calculations, control charts of all the reference standards, guidelines, quality checklist, customer complaints & analysis
• Materials Inspection - Incoming and In-Process
Maintaining quality standards for incoming materials ensuring stringent adherence to quality standards, norms & practices
Taking adequate measures like conducting inspection to monitor and analyse the performance of vendors pertaining to cost, quality and delivery norms
• Supplier Quality& Technical Assurance
Assessing the performance of the vendors based on various criterions such as quality/ technology improvement rate, timely delivery, etc.
Reviewing vendor quality status, plan actions to attain continual quality improvement of vendors
Providing technical guidance to the vendor team.
Team Management
• Managing the entire team activities for 48 professionals including hiring, training &training and enhanced customer satisfaction.
• Organizing various motivational & team building activities, creating a positive vibe among the team and holding one-on-one sessions for identifying training needs
• Continues on job training for the quality team to achieve the top management expectation and the company commitments.
